Hiccup kept running, he wanted to run away, away from everyone, away from his father. He ran till the reached the only place he ever felt safe in the village, the forge. He ran inside and hid in his little workplace at the back of the forge and broke down, he cried so hard, tears streaming down his face, he has never cried this much before, except for the time his mother died but now, he has lost all hope, any delusions of his father still loving him left Hiccup forever, he knew the truth now, Stoick never has and never will care for him. This thought alone broke his heart. Now, without his title of being the Heir of berk, he no longer has any protection, the village will now beat him even more mercilessly, he will be targeted more, insulted more and belittled more.

Hiccup played the events that had transpired earlier, it was all he could do right now, his mind was devoid of anything else other than the faces of the villagers smiling and smirking at Hiccup being humiliated and being disowned and disinherited, he saw the faces of the gang, the twins, Ruffnut and Tuffnut were laughing their butts off, Fishlegs looked at Hiccup with sadness and pity, Snotlout was laughing along with the twins and Astrid, she stared at him with an emotionless face. Hiccup did not know what to do anymore, he felt like he had lost all hope. Hiccup continued crying, hoping that this was some cruel dream, he cried and cried until he felt dizzy, he felt out of breath and fell asleep right then and there, his shirt being soaked in his tears.

Hiccup's POV:

I awoke to noises of clanging and banging of metal, I repeatedly blinked my eyes to adjust to my surroundings, I was very sore, especially in my face but I had partially gotten used to that by now. I reluctantly got up and looked outside, I noticed it was starting to get dark, 'I must've been asleep for quite some time' I thought to myself. I peered out and noticed that the streets were quite empty, and was eerily silent. I turned to Gobber, he was busy sharpening a sword. "Are you feeling alright lad?" Gobber asked me as he turned to me

"I honestly don't know Gobber" I replied back, he look at me with sadness in his eyes and came over to me.

"Its alright lad, if you need anything, don't be afraid to come to ol' Gobber" He said as he placed a hand on my shoulder. I smiled at him, he has always been there for me when I needed him, and right now I needed him the most. I nodded to him and he smiled and went back to sharpening the sword. I recalled the events that happened and remembered that I got disowned, I had no where to live, I gazed up at the house I have lived in all my life, it did sadden me a bit that I could never be there again, that place held little good memories but they were extremely important to me as they were memories I shared with my mother. Gobber noticed my gaze at the house and knew what I was thinking about, "Lad, I know you're disowned and you've nowhere to go, but you can always stay at the forge if you'd like," I smiled and nodded again. I got out of the forge and immediately noticed the stares from the remaining villagers on the street, I could also hear their whispers. I tried my best to ignore them and made my way up to my ex-father's house. When I arrived there, I noticed all my stuff has already been loosely packed outside, I fought back the urge to let loose some tears. I picked up all my stuff as best I could and started to make my way back to the forge

I was so deep in thought that I did not realize the teens was blocking my way to the forge, I was thinking about previous events that had happened and was snapped out of my trance when my stuff was suddenly knocked out of my hands, I looked up and saw what I hope I did not have to see, Snotlout and the rest of the gang.

"Hey Useless, did you have fun today?" he sneered at me, I did not reply as I was too dejected to even come up with my usual sarcastic replies, after seconds of me not answering, he got impatient and knocked me to the ground. I could feel the tears building up in my eyes, did they think I did not suffer enough already?
