Betrayed

Chapter 7

There is a scene in this chapter where Hiccup nearly gets sexually violated but doesn't so read at your own risk!

Five months later...

Hiccup was having the time of his life, the beatings and insulting has minimized due to him returning late to the forge each night, he finally had a friend to play with and talk to, one who gave him the kindness and compassion he had missed nearly all his life. Toothless' wing has completely healed, and to Hiccup's surprise, the dragon had stayed for a while more and continued staying the the cove. Hiccup would come everyday to the cove bringing tons of fish and they would enjoy each other's company. Hiccup could not be more grateful.

Hiccup's birthday was coming up in two days and Hiccup knew this birthday would be special because he had Toothless. Ever since his mother had died, Stoick forgot all about his birthday, he had forgotten him in general, the only thing he received during his birthdays was beatings and barrages of insults by the other villagers, Gobber was the only one who had treated him with gifts during his birthday, he had given Hiccup and journal, and small dagger and large amounts of food, they would eat together in the forge and they would talk and laugh, but this year, he had Toothless, he knew it was going to be a great birthday. he was very wrong.

A few days later...

Hiccup's birthday finally came round,  he exited the forge early as usual and bounded over to the cove, he greeted Toothless, and gave him fish and sat down to eat his own fish, they played and talked like they usually do and something amazing happened, Toothless nudged Hiccup repeatedly as if trying to say something, "What is it bud?" Hiccup asked confused, Toothless turned to the sky and then back to him, Hiccup understood immediately, "Y-You want me to fly with you?" Hiccup said to which Toothless nodded, "U-Um I-I don't think that's a very goo- WHOA" Hiccup was cut off by Toothless put his head between Hiccup's legs causing them to spread and then lifted his head up causing Hiccup to slid down his head and onto his neck, "T-Toothless wait lets- AHH" Hiccup said but was cut off by Toothless giving one big flap and rocketing into the air, "T-TOOTHLESS AHHH" Hiccup screamed whilst Toothless flew higher and higher into the air, eventually he stopped and leveled out, he glided gracefully above the clouds, Hiccup had his eyes screwed shut but Toothless gave an encouraging croon, Hiccup slowly opened his eyes and was amazed! It was beautiful up here! Hiccup's eyes widened as he carefully looked around him, clouds were everywhere and the blue sky shone brighter than ever! "Wow" Hiccup whispered in amazing, he looked down and could see the vast sea stretching for miles, he could also see Berk, it looked so small. Hiccup closed his eyes and felt the wind brush against his face, he felt so free! All his problems instantly vanished as he enjoyed the peacefulness up here, "This is amazing Toothless!" Hiccup said whilst patting him, Toothless crooned in response. They flew for around Berk for a while before Toothless landed back down in the cove. "Wow thanks bud, that was incredible!" Hiccup exclaimed, "Gods I-I felt so-so free, so amazing" Hiccup laughed out, he turned back to Toothless with a huge smile on his face, "Thank you bud, for everything" Hiccup said and placed his forehead to Toothless'.

When it was starting to get dark, they both sat down as they were both exhausted from playing and flying. They sat down around a campfire and ate in peace, until it was starting to get late and Hiccup knew he had to get back, he stood up and stretched, he turned to Toothless and noticed he was gazing up at the sky, Hiccup wondered why he was doing that for a moment until he knew what it had meant, Toothless was going to leave. Hiccup fought back tears as he went over to the Night fury, "You can go if you want to" Hiccup reluctantly said, Toothless turned to him and gave a sad croon, Hiccup responded by hugging his neck, after a few second he pulled away, "Its okay bud, you can always come back and I will always be here" Hiccup said trying to reassure the dragon, Toothless looted and the sky and turned back to Hiccup once more, he then gave Hiccup a lick on his face and stepped away from him, Hiccup watched in sadness as Toothless unfurled his wings and with one big flap, he was gone, Hiccup looked at the black blur in the sky, slowly getting smaller and smaller, until it was gone. Hiccup shed let loose some tears, his only friend had gone but Hiccup knew that he would be back someday.
