"So, Y/n, how comes you moved?" Hayes asked. We were on history and, despite only being in the class for 20 minutes, I could tell the teacher was most likely the scrictest one in the school. However, Hayes had developed a love for annoying the he'll out of me by asking a ton of questions.
"None of your business," I replied, before turning round to look at the board.
"Oh come on Y/n, don't be like that," he moaned but i just smirked, refusing to look at him.

"So...you ignored me all lesson," hayes said, matter of factly.
"Yep. I quite liked doing that, i think i'll ignore you next lesson as well," I replied, clutching my books as we walked to math. He sighed, making me laugh.
"Well I made you laugh so that's progress," he said, smiling.
Shaking my head, i said, "First of all no. You're getting nowhere. But anyway.........progress to what?" I asked, confused.
"You liking me." He responded, looking me in the eyes.
"That's never going to happen Hayes," i said, rolling my eyes.
"Just you wait Y/n, just you wait and see," he answered. He walked past, touching the top of my arm as he did so and winking before turning the corner. And my stomach did something weird in response that i had never felt before. Were they butterflies? They couldn't be, i didn't even like him. He annoyed me. Yet i, for some strange reason, enjoy his company..
