Angelica laid her head on her arms as she sat at the counter at her mother's job.

It had been about two days since she last saw Sunghoon at school and she still sat with the table of all creeps minus one.

She couldn't find anywhere else to sit because she was the girl who 'hit on Park Sunghoon'. The only ones that were slightly normal about it was her table.

Plus Jake was there and he made everything less agonizing.

Today she was helping her mother with her shift which was what she had agreed on. She would come help every Friday afternoon right after school because it was usually the busiest day but it doesn't seem very busy today.

Angelica looked up at the big mirror on the ceiling and saw her mother organizing the shelfs and making her way to the storage room to watch novelas for the third time that hour.

She sighed in boredom but quickly sat up when she heard the bell ring.

She looked towards the door and she saw the one and only Sunghoon. He had a small bruise on his chin and had a small band aid on his right cheek. She frowned as he made his way to the candy isle.

After he grabbed all of his snacks he walked towards the counter, his eyes meeting Angelica's for just a second. He looked down as he placed his things on the counter for Angelica to scan.

She started checking out the items and placing them in a bag, noticing pain relief patches.

"So, did you get into a fight with a drunk dude again?" She unexpectedly said making Sunghoon look up at her with slightly wide eyes.

"No. A drunk man isn't able to beat me." He quickly said without thinking and once he realized how cocky he sounded his eyes went wide. "I- I mean y-you know since they're drunk."

She tried to hold in a smile but it started creeping out as she thought.

That was cute.

"Oh well since a drunk man can't beat you, it had to be a sober one I guess." She joked and Sunghoon almost smiled as she finished placing all of his things in a bag. "Your total is 21.85."

Sunghoon payed the amount and grabbed the receipt from Angelica's hand, their eyes meeting once again.

This time the nervous one was Sunghoon. And he never feels nervous.

Angelica's sudden confidence in speaking to him first caught him off guard and he didn't know how to approach it.

When Sunghoon was about to turn around and leave he heard the girl call out his name.

"Wait!"

She said as she moved around the counter, once she reached him she placed a bottle of Advil in his bag.

"These are good for muscle pain. I saw the pain patches you got so I thought of giving you these. You don't have to take them if you don't want to. You know what? It does seem kind of weird doesn't it? I'll take them back." She nervously rambled and Sunghoon gently pushed her hand back that was about to reach into the bag to take back the bottle.

"Thank you." He said giving her a small nod and just like that, he turned around and walked out of the door.

Ugh he's so cute.

She thought as she made her way around the counter and continued to lay her head on her arm.

"You're going to love this place. I think it fits your style. We come here almost every week." Jake said excitedly as he led Angelica inside Claro's where they had all agreed to meet that night.

Even though Angelica was reluctant on going to this get together due to the creepiness of the group, she decided that if she was going to be a teenager that has fun she should go out to these places and at least try to have fun.

Just like Jake said. The place was just her style. It was calm and rustic but at the same time it was loud with the low music playing on the speakers and the people chatting about. It looked more like a restaurant than a cafe. It even had karaoke.

What type of upgraded cafe is this?

Jake dragged her to the table where all of his friends sat and they welcomed Angelica with open arms.

"Welcome new girl to the official hang out place." Trenton states and the people around him chuckled.

Angelica awkwardly smiled and sat on the chair that Jake had pulled out for her.

"Tell the crowd about yourself and we'll all do a little self presentation for the new girl, how about that?" He continued and everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

"Well, um. I'm Angelica, I'm 18, I moved here from Puerto Rico but I'm Dominican and I don't know what else to say." She awkwardly says and the rest of the group nods.

"Cool. What do you like to do?" The random girl that told everyone Simon's business asked.

"I- don't know actually." She said with as she sat in thought.

She wasn't really into anything in particular. Besides dancing at home and watching musicals and youtube videos there was really nothing she was interested in. She didn't have any hobbies or wants. It was kind of depressing now that she realized it.

"How can you-"

"Well my name's Jake, I'm from Australia as you all know and I like soccer."

Trenton had started to speak but Jake interrupted. Everyone focused their attention on Jake and quickly forgot about the no interests discussion.

Soon everyone around the table introduced themselves and she learned to know the name of the girl that is into everyone's business was Olivia, which Angelica kind of expected because she looked like an Olivia.

The group went into random discussions about places and get togethers that she hadn't been to and most of the girls were talking about who is having sex with who which in Angelica's mind was totally inappropriate.

Most of the time she just sat quietly eating some cake that she had ordered as the rest of the group conversed. As she ate, Jake would occasionally have little conversations with her or would ask her questions.

After about 20 minutes, her social battery was starting to waste so she stood up to go outside and get some fresh air.

Once she was outside, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath of the freezing cold air. She shuddered as she rubbed her exposed arms.

It was warm an hour ago what the heck? I should've brought a jacket.

Soon she heard quiet steps heading towards her and she opened her eyes.
