During lunch time, Angelica told both of her friends that she would be going to spend lunch in the library to read. But God knows she can't read a book without falling asleep to save her life.

She only wanted to leave the cafeteria so that she could see Sunghoon sitting in the hallway.

After all who doesn't want to see Sunghoon sitting down, reading while eating an apple?

She smiled to herself as she opened the double doors of the cafeteria. As soon as she turned her head, she saw Sunghoon sitting there in all his glory with a book in hand.

She walked over and sat down next to him with a thump, almost hitting her head on the locker. He didn't even look up at her as he was focused on the book. Angelica stared at him for a few seconds and decided to break the silence noticing that after a few minutes, he still hadn't turned the page.

"So, where's your apple?"

"I didn't bring one today."

"So you haven't eaten lunch?"

Sunghoon shook his head no as he continued staring at the page that he had been looking at for the past 10 minutes. He had read it about five times already but he still couldn't understand what it meant.

He suddenly saw half a sandwich in front of his book page. His eyes traveled up to meet Angelica's as she raised her eyebrows, offering the sandwich again.

"My arm is going to start hurting."

Sunghoon took the sandwich from her hand and continued to stare at her as she pulled out a chocolate milk from her bag.

"I swear I didn't plan this." She says with an amused chuckle as she passed it to him.

"Seems like it." He teased as he took a bite from the sandwich.

Angelica playfully glared at him and he let out a small laugh.

"Thank you, Armrest."

"Ha, Ha, Ha, your short jokes are getting funnier and funnier these days." She sarcastically says as she gives him a big fake smile.

She picks up her own half of the sandwich and takes out a strawberry milk from her bag.

"Why do you bring two?" He asked as he furrowed his eyebrows.

"Jake likes chocolate milk too so I've been bringing double the past few days." She answers as she takes a bite from her sandwich.

Sunghoon chewed slowly as the gears in his brain were turning.

She was close to Jake. Sometimes a little too close. He didn't know if he was okay with it or not.

"What? Are you jealous?" She teased as she looked at Sunghoon, who was looking at the wall in front of them.

"Psst, you wish."

Yes. I do wish, She thought as she held in a laugh.

For a while it was quiet as they ate their lunch.

It was nice. There was only noise coming from the cafeteria which was only a few lockers away.

This was the silence that she needed. She felt like she would suffocate in that cafeteria, it was so loud.

Soon they were both done and Angelica picked up their trash to throw it out at the trashcan near the cafeteria doors.

She threw out the trash and was about to make her way back to Sunghoon, until the doors opened and Jake walked out.

"Dude I was about to go look for you, you missed Trenton's fight with Yu Ahn, it was hilarious." He said as he let out a laugh. Soon his eyes met Sunghoon who was watching both of them the entire time. His smile faltered a little.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go see." Angelica said as she had noticed their gazes on each other.

Angelica placed her arm around Jake's and started pulling him inside the cafeteria.

"Hey Armrest!"

Angelica turned around surprised as she heard Sunghoon call out to her. He held her lunch bag up in the air as he raised his eyebrows.

"Oh! I forgot." She said as she jogged over to get her bag. Their hands slightly grazed each other and because of this, their eyes met for a split second.

Angelica panicked and turned around to go to the cafeteria, pulling Jake inside with her.

Sunghoon let out a chuckle as he went back to reading his book.

"So I went down to the store manager and I told her 'Your employee treated me like shit' and she was like 'We just don't have what you asked for.' Can you believe that?" Yu Ahn ranted as she shook her head with her arm wrapped around Angelica's.

The girl who was pretending to listen just nodded her head every time Yu Ahn asked her a question and looked forward to the exit that was only a few steps away.

"Okay, we get it, you didn't get the face masks that you wanted Yu Ahn, now can we please change the subject?" Jake said, letting out an amused smile as Yu Ahn glared at him.

Angelica laughed as Yu Ahn pushed Jake with her other arm. They made their way through the doors and towards Jake's car, which always was in the best parking spot, nearest to the school.

Suddenly Angelica was grabbed by the arm and was startled to see someone who she really wanted nothing to do with.

"Tyler?"

They all stared at Tyler for a few seconds, both Jake and Yu Ahn noticing how uncomfortable Angelica seemed to be.

"Do you need a ride home?" He asked as he looked at both of her friends, finally noticing that they were there.

"My name is Tyler, by the way." He said as he smirked.

Jake gave him an awkward close lipped smile and Yu Ahn just stared.

"I'm Jake, she's Yu Ahn. I don't think she needs a ride. I'm dropping her off." He said politely, Yu Ahn nodding her head in agreement.

Tyler slowly looked away, almost processing what Jake had said.

As he did so, his eyes wondered to the space behind the trio, noticing Sunghoon getting on his motorbike.

He smirked and walked closer to Angelica, who held Yu Ahn's arm even tighter than before.

"Are you sure you don't want to ride with me?" He whispered as he was close to her face.

Angelica moved back in disgust, pulling Yu Ahn with her.

"I don't really know you that much." Angelica stated and Tyler just nodded his head once and moved back, placing his smirk back on his face.

"Well then. I'll see you around." He said as he saluted her and walked back to a car Angelica hadn't even noticed was there.

As the car zoomed away, the trio stared as they were all perplexed at the interaction that just occurred

******

Just like the three friends, Sunghoon's eyes followed the car. If he could set the car on fire with the look in his eyes he would.

He was a little confused. Tyler didn't really care about who he talked to that much. Usually he would just report whatever he saw to Mr. Park without mentioning anything to Sunghoon. But in the last few days Sunghoon hasn't heard anything out of the ordinary from his father.

What's the leech really up to this time?, He wondered.

He didn't have any idea.

All he knew, was that he was not letting Tyler take her away from him.
