Chapter Thirteen

"We need to talk," Mia said seriously, putting her food down.

"Oh?"

"Yeah, I want to move to Korea and be with you. Permanently. I want to take that job, and throw myself into this, whatever this is"

"Like, properly?"

"Yes, I need to look at Visa's, get my new vampire passport and work out all of the logistics and find a solution for this little monster, but I don't want to be without you. Even the thought of it makes me want to cry"

"Ok, well. We will go back and register our soulmark and soulbond meaning you don't need a visa, your passport should be a simple renewal and we will help in whatever way we can. There's already a room for you at our dorms, and we are in the process of looking for a house for us all. We already have our own apartments, for investments, so if you want to stay in one of those, but you're sure?"

"I've never been more sure about anything, I'm
going to talk to my parents tomorrow, and see Mrs Oates to talk about Lucifer. He's happy here, his friends are here, and he knows everyone, and they know him, taking him across the other side of the world would be cruel. I'll still pay for everything for him, and make sure he's well cared for, I'll miss the little arsehole, but I need him more than he needs me"

"How long do you think it'll take you?"

"I'm going to say a month, I need to sort a vampire passport, changing addresses over and my bank account, and learn some Korean, and just generally make sure I'm prepared"

"Ok. Whatever you need, you just say and it will be available to you. If you change your mind, that's ok too, we will work around it"

"I'm not going to change my mind. I need to do this. My Mum will probably pack my bag for me when I tell her"

"We will work our schedule around so we have some time off to welcome you officially and introduce you to our families, our friends and most importantly, our dogs"

"There are so many places I want to show you!" Jin was beaming, his face looked like it was glowing he was smiling so widely.

"To getting Mini to South Korea!" Jungkook raised his can.

"And to telling my bestie I'm leaving him" Mia smiled sadly.

"How about we see how the move goes, and if you're both finding it too difficult, we can have a look at a solution?" Yoongi nodded.

"Ok, thank you. You're doing so much for me"

"You have no idea how much you're doing for us. You've completed us and in the meantime, there's video calling, and messaging and calls"

"Mum, I've decided I'm going to be moving to South Korea"

"I've never been more surprised about anything in my entire life" Maureen smiled sarcastically.

"Mum! This is serious"

"I'm being serious, so when is your flight?"

"I said a month to get things sorted out"

"A month? I could have this placed packed up in two days!"

"I meant for sorting things out, and spending time with Jase and Lucifer, that's another thing.."

"Of course we will look after him, feed him, love him, keep him out of trouble and send you daily pictures to the group chat. Mrs Oates will look after him too, I'm sure. Cat care job share"

"I'll pay for his insurance and his vet bills and his food ok, and whatever he needs. If I give the money to you, you can give it to Mrs Oates and the insurance just comes out of my bank?"
