Chapter Eighty Six

"I'm dead. My eyes feel like someone rolled them in the sand"

"Bad night?"

"I've never had such little sleep in my life" Mia padded into the kitchen.

"Where are they?"

"Oh, they're fast asleep in the cots now. Now Mama is awake and thinks she might be dead"

"Why don't you go back to sleep for a while?"

"I need to eat and drink and take the drugs and then if I don't sleep I'm going to be sick"

"Well, we have some work to do and we were going to take them with us since they like sliding across the practice room floor"

"Oh my god really?" Mia held Jungkook's face in her hands.

"Really baby. What do you have planned for today?"

"I've got some stuff I want to talk to my parents about, then I've got a hair appointment, a massage, a nail appointment, and the cleaning staff are in, Ahn is on dog duty, and then I'm going to the Women's centre, I want to discuss care we can offer for single Mum's, and we're beginning the first of our LGBTQ+ plans"

"What does LGBTQ+ mean?"

"Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, queer and Transsexual, 2/Two-Spirit, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, Pansexual, Agender, Gender Queer, Bigender, Gender Variant, Pangender" Mia recited.

"That's a long list"

"Mmm, it is, I know while we can't cater for everyone, we still need to be at the very least educated on assisting people and using the correct languages"

"You're a very empathetic woman"

"Thank you. I was thinking. I haven't cooked very much lately, how about I make us all dinner?"

"A roast?"

"Would you like a roast?"

"Yes," Jungkook nodded happily.

"Then I shall give my Husband what he wants"

"Oh really?" He smirked.

"When I can function like a human"

"That might take a while" he smiled, handing Mia her coffee.

"So, I read your email" Mia looked seriously at her parents.

"And?" Mia's Mum looked terrified.

"It's a bloody brilliant idea, but I have one alteration"

"What? Do you want more, you can have more?"

"No actually, I would like less five per cent less, I would like Jase to have the majority share of fifty-five per cent and a clause that says my share will always stay with Jase"

"Why?"

"Because he will be there, I will be here. I always want him to know that it is his, he has put his heart into that shop and been there when I needed him the most"

"And you're ok with it all?"

"I had a feeling something like this was coming, but it's absolutely fine for me"

"Oh darling thank goodness, when you didn't reply we panicked, we thought we had upset you "

"No. I saw the email but wanted to read it when I had some proper time"

"Oh love I'm so relieved, you know we don't love you any less and we know Jase isn't bio..."

"He's your son, in your heart and that's what matters. Ok? I'm very fortunate to have the soulmates I do, and if you hadn't given me anything I would have understood"
