"Suz... can you stop the car?"

"Err yeah... why?"

"I'm going to....." Mia vomited, thankfully into a bag she had ready.

"Oh Mini. Let me pull over" Soohyun indicated to the nearest place, climbing out and rushing around.

"Sorry"

"Don't be sorry, you made it into the bag this time" Soohyun chuckled.

"Here, you go wipes and water"

"Thank you. I thought this round would be easier"

"No such luck hey? You still taking the anti-sickness?"

"Religiously, for all the good they're doing"

"Well, you make sure you rest when you get back"

"I've done nothing but, aside from Geongmin and Jase spring-summer- izing the dorms. They look amazing, but I was exhausted just looking"

"You need to say if you're too tired for stuff ok? There's plenty of time to be doing that kind of thing when you're not this exhausted. Once those two get together they're like a bloody whirlwind of squeals"

"Jase is doing so well, honestly, he's working hard, things I didn't even know needed done get done, and he, honestly his Korean is insane"

"I'm proud of him, he has stepped up, I knew he would, I just didn't know he would be this good, if I need an assistant I'm stealing him"

"I'm not letting him go. Ever" Mia smiled. Since having the operation he throat had never felt better, she could talk, eat, and swallow without pain. However she was on her second round of chemotherapy, and her body was still healing from having part of her ovary and eggs removed. Thankfully they had managed to preserve all of the tissue and the eggs they needed.

The first round had knocked her for six, but she thought it was because it was the first round, the second round ended the week previously, but it took the full three weeks for her to feel remotely normal, and then it started again.

Her mouth had been full of ulcers, she couldn't taste, she couldn't smell, she felt sick, she was too hot and too cold in the blink of an eye and she spent so much time vomiting she wondered why she bothered eating at all. But she was feeling less like a zombie when she went to her oncologist appointment.

"Where are the kids today?"

"Namjoon's Eomma has them, she is planting the plants from her greenhouse and they are helping her, well, I say helping, I'll be surprised if she has any left"

"Ohhh, fun for them, not so much for her"

"Yeah, they're rolling everywhere now, and trying to crawl! Nabi screeches no every time you ask her anything"

"They're so grown up now, honestly when we had them last week, Ha-Joon ended up practically waiting on them hand and foot. I can't believe they're so close in age, but yet he seems so much older than them"

"It's true, he's one next month. He's like a walking tornado"

"Absolutely. But the cutest little tank especially since you started weaning him, they're not showing any interest yet, I give them carrot sticks or bits and bobs for them and they just look at them. So we will wait a bit longer. I'm sure once the boys are back and they see them eating it'll spur them on a bit, they don't see me eat anything with only having the shakes so I wasn't sure if it was that"

"When are they back?"

"Next week, I can't wait. Honestly. My soulmate bond needs to be topped up and I just need to be cuddled for a week, at least it's the week where I begin to feel normal again"
