Chapter Twenty Five

"Have you heard from the girls at all?" Hoseok slumped down on the sofa next to Mia.

"Mmm. Yes. I keep meaning to reply, but I don't know what to say. You know they sent flowers and gifts?"

"I do. Jiwoo called me to check you got them"

"Well, I don't know I just feel awkward"

"Why?"

"Well, people know what happened, and I just don't want to be known as the girl that got attacked is all. I don't want them to think I'm ungrateful either"

"Well, Jiwoo wondered if you wanted to go to the water park with them tomorrow"

"The waterpark?" Mia's eyes lit up.

"They want you there as their friend, that's all Jiwoo sees you as, her friend, something horrible happened to you, but you're her friend. She worries just like friends do, but she would like it if you went tomorrow"

"Ok. I'll message the group chat, I can go now I don't need to wear the sling and Hobi? Did you want to say friend again?"Mia smiled.

"Hmm. So, what did you and Jin do the other night?"

"Hmm? Oh, the other night?"

"We all felt it"

"I asked him to bite me"

"Wow. That explains it then"

"Explains?"

"The rush of emotions we all felt. We thought you had slept together"

"No. I don't know why it just hit me that I wanted him to bite me, but it felt so right. I'm
glad I did"

"I do, I trust all of you. I can't explain it like you are my home. I never imagined leaving Whitby I could feel like this and after... what happened but knowing you were all there for me, knowing the way you all looked after me without question. It meant a lot"

"Oh, baby girl. You've made us all so happy in such a short space of time. You're our home. I want to ask you something? Well, two things actually?"

"Yes, Hobi?"

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Of course I will!"

"I've got five now, I think. Tae hasn't officially asked me"

"Ahh, you're a lucky lady!"

"I sure am. What was the second thing?"

"We're flying to Paris in a few weeks for some shows and some fittings. Will you come with us? We will have some time to spend with you and you can sightsee and Gwan and Hak will be with us too. Will you come?"

"To Paris?"

"Yes"

"I'd love to! I have a Great Aunt that lives in the city centre, I'll ask my Mum and make sure I have her correct number, and it would be good to meet up"

"Perfect. So what do you have planned for today?"

"Well, I contacted Juliette about going back to work, and she has sent me some more things to proofread, so that's what I was doing, then I said I would go into the office this afternoon, just to familiarise myself with things, and collect some paperworky bits"

"How is counselling going?"

"It's going well, it's only an hour a week, but it helps me to stop mashing everything together in one big lump and I'm sleeping better"
