They all made their way in. Issac quickly glanced around through the dark to make sure they were the only moving beings around there.

Once he and the 'all black squad' looked around and made sure that the place was secured, they started to settle in. Considering how heavily it was raining, they weren't going anywhere for a while.

Issac looked at Nyx as she approached Cronos while he was engaged in a conversation with Ares. She must have said something to him because he turned towards her after a few seconds and Ares left them.

As she talked to him, she looked completely different. Different from the girl who saved him from the mutant. She didn't look that...cold...distant, in fact, she looked like a young girl full of warmth and playfulness. The way she rolled her eyes at him, the way she faintly smiled at him which was visible even with her mask on because that smile reached her eyes. Everything she did around him made her look like a normal, young girl. Not some menacingly calm murderer who doesn't even flinch while yanking someone's head off.

He kept looking at her as she moved towards the stairs and called out to the other girl 'Hera' who lead their way as they climbed the stairs.

"These people were so hell bent that we leave that place, saying mutants are coming. We didn't see even one. This whole thing seems fishy to me." Aiden said in a low voice as he sat down near Issac.

"We cannot keep going like this. I am gonna need some answers. It's weird that you agreed to co-operate with them. You don't know these people. You didn't ask anything. And you don't know where they are taking us. What the fuck is going on with you?" Aiden asked while looking at him, concern evident on his face.

Issac didn't respond. He just kept staring at the ground with a straight face. Just when Aiden was about to shake him thinking he didn't hear him, he finally opened his mouth and said in barely audible voice, "We will get answers."

Issac's answer apparently didn't satisfy Aiden because after a while he suddenly said, "Where the hell were your mutants? They never showed up? Now that I think about it, were there any to show up in the first place?"

All of the eyes were on him. The place was dark and very dimly lit by the flashlights that the two of the 'all black squad' had and anything or anyone was barely visible. But by now their eyes had become familiar to the dark.

"Aiden. Don't." Issac said from behind him in a calm voice.

"I am not stopping you from asking questions but you are asking the wrong people. They don't have the answers you are looking for." He said immediately as if reading Aiden's mind who was about to ask why 'he shouldn't?'

"What makes you so sure?" The Cronos guy asked .

He took a deep breath and stood up. He slowly walked towards Cronos and stood in front of him, looking straight in his eyes.

"You. I saw you as we walked out of the forest. At first you were very careful, alert. But as we neared the exit of the forest, your expressions changed. From alertness to disappointment? Shock? I am not sure. But that made one thing clear. You were expecting some mutants, so, you didn't lie to us." He said tilting his head from side to side as he made his points, one after another. He looked uninterested.

"At least, you, in particular didn't." He said looking straight in Cronos' eyes once again. Now he looked interested.

"I have a few questions though."
