Sun couldn't believe they were safe now. The sirens' noise and loud conversations in the various groups of agents responsible for the criminals' arrest had drowned out any logical thoughts he might have had at the time.

It was all a blur, but he vaguely remembered pretending to pass out and giving Kim a signal. During their training at the Agency, the pair of agents had established several secret signals in case they were taken hostage and looked for ways to save themselves. In the current case, when one of the thugs punched Sun square in the jaw, he pretended to lose consciousness and Kim knew it was his cue.

In an Oscar-winning act, Kim began to cry desperately, causing their captors' surprise. The effect was so strong that they released him and allowed him to embrace the body they thought was lifeless.

Unfortunately for the criminal group and luckily for justice, this brief lapse was enough for Kim and Sun to use their vast martial arts skills to subdue the bad guys and regain control of the situation. When they had all the men tied up, they looked for a phone and called the Agency, which sent reinforcements shortly after confirming their identity.

Now, after his blood had cooled and the adrenaline gave way to an emptiness feeling, all Sun could see in front of him was Kim, and the urge he felt to hug him to make sure they were alive and well was all that occupied his mind.

"You did a good job, guys! Take 15 days of vacation anywhere in the world and come back refreshed!" their boss concluded with a cheerful tone or something close to that coming from that tall, cold-faced guy who didn't know the meaning of smile.

"Shall we?", Kim asked offering his hand to Sun, who accepted.

Sun's slender, skillful fingers did wonders for Kim's scalp. No matter how many times the youngest had touched him or in which way, he would never be able to stop the butterflies in his stomach from fluttering with the feeling. Now, lying in the tub filled with warm water and with Sun washing his hair, he was able to begin to relax after the tumultuous day.

"P'Kim?" Sun called.

"Yes, love." The taller one purred calmly under the influence of the atmosphere that settled in the bathroom.

"I still can't believe you've had your memory all this time, but a part of me is so relieved about it that I just want to enjoy it," Sun muttered under his breath, involuntarily stopping the movement of the hands massaging Kim's head.

"Sun… I need to apologize to you…", Kim understood the feeling of dread that knowing that your loved one could be in danger can cause. And that's why he didn't want to put Sun's life in the middle of this war, which led to disagreements between them and ended up resulting in their kidnapping by the group they were investigating. Before Kim could head into darker thoughts, Sun continued.

"But then, when I gave the signal after faking a faint and you understood, I felt confident right away. Because it meant you were there with me, that we were together.", Sun explained moving his hands over Kim's nape until they rested on his shoulders.

Kim let out a resigned sigh and laced his fingers with his partner's. The act of taking his hand out of the warm water made his skin sensitive and the fact that his boyfriend's hands were still covered in shampoo made the contact more intense. Or maybe it was just their emotions mingling with the remnants of the adrenaline felt earlier that day. Anyway, the touch served to reassure Sun who hugged the taller one and rested his chin on his shoulder. "But now that it's all over, we've accomplished our mission and we're safe, I'm so proud of you! My P'Kim is a hero!". With the last word Sun placed a soft kiss on Kim's cheek who was extremely shy with the compliment.
