Ohm and Yorla were born and raised in the same city. They attended the same school from the beginning of their lives, studied in the same class, and knew the same people. Yet, for some reason, they had never exactly spoken to each other more than a few polite words in the hallway like "sorry" and "please." Still, they knew who they were. The perks of living in a small town.

This situation changed after the pandemic. With the lockdown forcing everyone to stay at home, even to study, Ohm and Yorla found themselves compelled to interact and it all started with a school work.

"Ok, ok!" he replied rolling his eyes. 

Neither Solui nor Kala really believed the whole story of Ohm and Yorla's friendship because she had a tendency to be naive in some cases and he was the most popular guy in school. They had seen enough movies to know where it might end, but decided to support their childhood bestfriend.

"Hey freak! Aren't you ashamed to come to school dressed like that?" the blonde girl wearing a cheerleader's uniform asked looking Yorla from head to toe, purposely mistaken her pronoun and putting herself in front of her, barring her view of the school entrance.
