Commander Orvelios, the police chief Eola Gyeran looked over the reports. It has been two weeks since the disastrous battle of Angver. The new fleet has been chasing the remnants of the attacking force, with the aid of what was left of the Xoer fleet. Only Kilor, Kelja, Valaeon, Teolara, Eruma and Paellor had survived, along with Admiral Rokal, who had taken over as the leader of the entire force.

"We need the help of Jorkal, Vanraael, Ulmara and Altaarium. Only united, can we stand a chance against this new threat. The Xoer are of little consequence. We will be able to finish them off quickly" said Chief Gyeran. "I sent a message to their leaders. Hopefully, they will respond before all of us are wiped out" Commander Orvelios said.

Suddenly, the floor shook. They rushed to the windows, and looked out to the sky, where the remaining Xoer warships, as well as 26 Dyrakos battleships and several hundred of their fighters slowly destroyed the Lidaeri battle group defending Gaenlin.

At least a thousand Dyrakos soldiers moved through the streets, killing any civilians that were unfortunate enough to be caught out in the open. The city garrison confronted them, and a fire fight began, which the garrison was loosing. "We have to retreat" Orvelios said.

They, along with 7 other police officers, teleported out of the building, reappearing in the hangar. As they were about to board ship, the black clad soldiers swarmed them, blowing the Lidaeri fighters and killing the Lidaeri personnel around them. The few armed were quickly shot.

"Kressureo" said Commander Orvelios, ripping sheets of metal from the destroyed fighters and hurled them at the soldiers, taking a group of them down. "Ruonar illiaras" said Chief Gyeran, burning through several dozen soldiers with beams of light. "Eoren illiaras" four of the police officers combined their power, releasing massive fire blooms, scorching the nearby soldiers. Their energy levels dropped significantly, and they drank from their hip flasks, restoring some of the lost energy. Then, a portal appeared, and four Dark Knights appeared.

Commander Orvelios, Chief Gyeran, and the four Rumaenoria wielding soldiers gathered together, while the other three stayed behind them, somewhat protected, providing support fire.

The four warriors attacked, their dark energy blades clashing with Gyeran's and Orvelios's light blades. The four Rumaenors behind them sent bursts of fire and lightning at the dark warriors, along with air, light and metal disks.

Gyeran ducked under a slash and covered her fist with lightning. Before the dark warrior could do anything, she struck him, throwing him away and wrenched him back with air. She slashed, cleaving through his torso, separating his lower body and legs from the rest. Beside her, Orvelios evaded a blast of air and disarmed her foe. She slammed the pommel of her light sword into his jaw and said "Ruonar", burning through his neck.

The other two warriors pulled two of the Rumaenor soldiers onto their blades, killing them and pushed Gyeran back an air wave. One of them launched a torrent of lightning at Orvelios, which she blocked with her light sword, and began walking towards them, firing off her magic. "Kressureo" the other said, launching a volley of metal disks at her. She raised her hand, redirecting them into the soldiers around them.

The remaining Lidaeri Rumaenoria wielding soldiers enhanced their speed and strength, and took out a swath of enemy soldiers, the other three aiding them. One of them was shot by a stray dark energy ball.

Orvelios gathered her energy, and said "Kalkar illiaras", releasing a powerful air blast, sending the other two Dark Knights and the nearby Dyrakos soldiers to the floor. "We have to go now!" she said, helping Gyeran to her feet, and along with the four remaining soldiers, ran to the nearest ship. The Dark Knights and the soldiers recovered, and fired on the ship. "Let's return their fire!" Orvelios ordered, as she concentrated. The ship's guns started blazing, releasing volleys of sunbeams and missiles at the soldiers, killing swaths of them. Orvelios said "Maera illiaras", entering the minds of several dozen soldiers, and compelling them to turn on their allies, keeping their attention focused on each other. The soldiers under her control were killed quickly, though not before they shot at least 80 other soldiers, buying them some time to escape. "Porteo" she said, using up the last of her energy, and reached for her hip flask, finding it empty. She sighed, and directed the ship into the portal, leaving Gaenlin behind.
