"Admiral, is the fleet ready?" "Ready and waiting."

"Porteo iliaras" three voices said. An enormous window appeared in the sky. The Lidaeri Sky Fleet entered the window, and disappeared in a flash of light.

"Sir, a Lidaeri sky fleet has just emerged from a portal! We are outmatched!" "Alert Admiral Jukas."

Kelja, Kilor and Xalas observed the opening stages of the battle. "They are loosing ships fast, while our losses are quite low. At this rate, they will run out long before a third of our fleet is destroyed. Let's make that come even sooner" said Kilor. "What do you suggest?" asked Xalas. Kilor smiled. "You really shouldn't have asked" he said. "Don't do anything crazy. Not like last time" Kelja said sternly. "Oh, it's nothing major, really. I am just going to wipe out their entire command" Kilor replied.

"By yourself? Are you crazy?" Kelja asked. Kilor smiled. "I think you know the answer to that question. In all seriousness though. You will need to distract the bulk of their defenses so that I can get in without too much difficulty" he said. "Just be careful will you?" Xalas called, but Kilor was already moving. He reached the cruiser's hangar and jumped into his personal fighter. He activated the engine, and exited the cruiser.

"Insae" he said, turning the ship invisible. He flew past the Lidaeri and Xoer capital ships and fighters, evading their sunbeam launchers. He wanted nothing more than to join the main battle, but he knew that the Hellion command would have to be taken out, and that neither Kelja nor Xalas were reckless enough to attempt it.

"Yes, I suppose I am somewhat crazy" he said to no one in particular, as he directed the ship to a secluded building. He engaged the thrusters, landing the fighter with a soft thump, so as to not alert any nearby soldiers. He knew he could take them out without much effort, but that would take time he'd much rather spend on the command than some common foot soldiers.

He deactivated the engine, and jumped out of the cockpit. He turned himself invisible, and leapt, letting the power of air guide him onto the roof of another building, gradually making his way to the Hellion command center. After several minutes, he finally reached the building, and jumped to the ground, slowing his descent with air. He landed lightly on the balls of his feet, and quietly moved to the door, to avoid alerting the four guards standing to its sides. The guards looked through him, not having the slightest idea that he was right before them. ""Maera" he muttered. The guards's eyes wandered away from the street, onto nearby buildings, and the four lost their awareness. He walked up to the door, and opened it, sliding through. As he closed the door again, he released the spell, and silently jogged to the top level.

He stealthily moved past the soldiers that guarded the various rooms and hallways, and finally made it to the command chamber. Checking for guards, he released the invisibility spell, and said "Goeti", sliding the door open. The Xoer officers, who had been overlooking the battle on their viewing table, looked up as he entered, shock plastered on their faces. "Greetings, officers. Though soon it will be a goodbye" Kilor said, brandishing his aquamarine staff. "Curse you, Knight" one of them said, and fired at him with his sunbeam pistol. Kilor deflected the shots with his staff, and ripped the pistol out of the officer's hand with an air wave, and shattered the weapon. The eight officers drew their swords, and attacked. Three of them launched bursts of fire, lightning and ice, two of them also wielding light and dark.

"Teotaires" he said, drawing the power out of the attacks, and they merely splashed against him, without causing any damage. "Kalkar algre!" he said, releasing a powerful blast of air. Three of the officers were sent flying through the windows, and they could hear their screams as they fell to their deaths. The other five were more careful. The first officer distracted Kilor with a blast of lightning, and the other two Rumaenors struck him with fire and ice, and added stone to their attack. Kilor was sent to the floor.
