A Dyrakos fleet emerged over Lanzur, the capital of Rokotai. Hundreds of troop carriers were sent down. The Rokotai defense cannons and the small fleet fired on them, taking down many of them, but the rest landed, unloading thousands of Dyrakos soldiers into the city streets. The Lanzur garrison met them in the city square. Their tanks opened fire on Dyrakos, and they retaliated in kind.

Commander Zuron, leader of the garrison, electrocuted a group of soldiers with a burst of lightning and burned another group with a torrent of fire. Several Rumaenor soldiers faced him, showering him with ice and light. The commander blocked each attack with a dark energy shield and said "Teotaires", quickly draining them of their energy. They collapsed before they had a chance to strike again.

Zuron drew his sun sword and cut down two more. Beside him, a few more of the garrison destroyed several Dyrakos tanks, killing the soldiers around them.

Four Rokotai tanks ran over another group and blasted several more enemy tanks. Then, one of them was suddenly blown, followed by another. The other two fired out at random, but were quickly destroyed.

A Tearia landed on the battlefield, and slew several Rokotai soldiers. Commander Zuron attacked with his sunsword, but the Tearia met every attack with its star steel sword and retaliated, landing several gashes on Zuron's arms. Zuron evaded another attack and said "Kressureo", but the attack had no visible effect on it. The Tearia merely laughed and continued its attack.

The garrison was promptly wiped out, though over a thousand Dyrakos soldiers have also fallen, along with 40 tanks.

Zuron said "Streokal spular illiaras", matching the Tearia's strength and speed, and threw it over his shoulder. He slammed the pommel of his sun sword into its sternum, and stepped on its neck, but the Tearia forced him off and returned to its feet. Zuron poured more energy into his spells, and attacked again, this time exceeding his foe. He landed several gashes on the warrior's armor, and thrust the blade into its chest. He widened the wound, and saw a mass of wires, cables, metal and star steel. "Eoren lyran", he said, transferring his remaining energy into the sword. The combination of fire and lightning destroyed the Tearia from the inside, and the resulting explosion sent Zuron into a disabled tank, knocking him unconscious.

The Dyrakos army proceeded into the rest of the city, swiftly ending all resistance and invaded the neighboring cities as well. Zuron was taken prisoner.
