November 5
Sirius Black seemed to be confused as to why Ariene was mad at him. He was confused as to why Ariene was mad at him. After what he did. The day after his birthday he simply gave Ariene the silent treatment, but when he saw how upset Ariene was about it, he tried to talk to her about it. The other marauders simply gave her apologetic looks whenever Sirius was particularly obnoxious with his "revenge". She ate as much as she could to help her hangover and it gave her a way to avoid talking to the others. She didn't see Marlene the day after, and Ariene was extremely anxious to see her.
It was a very cold morning, and Ariene was not looking forward to class. She sighed and put a pair of comfy gryffindor socks on. She looked up to see no one in the dorm. Shit! She looked at her clock. Shit, shit, shit! She raced out of her bed and got dressed, put her makeup on, and left the dorm clutching a mess of textbooks and quill supplies. She made it halfway out of the common room when she realized. Shit! She used a quick levitating spell by waving her hand in the air and ran to the dorm to get her wand.

She made it to transfiguration a complete mess, and 40 minutes late, to see that the students were already de-transfiguring their items. She sat in her seat and sank down, but when she met eyes with Sirius she immediately straightened her posture to her usual intimidating stance. Sirius blinked, then turned back to his desk, muttering under his breath.
"Oi, Ariene!" He called to her as she left transfiguration. Ariene ignored him and continued walking.
"Ariene!"
"What?!" She said, turning around.
"I need to talk with you." Ariene scoffed and turned back around. Sirius held her shoulder and turned her around to face him.
"Oi!" He said.
"What do you want?" Ariene asked, sighing.
"Sorry for not waking you,"
"Well, maybe I'll get out of here sooner if I'm late. Is that all?" Ariene asked.
"No!"
"Get on with it then?"
"I'm- look, I'm really sorry for kissing-"
"We are not talking about this here or now." Ariene interrupted, looking around.
"I was drunk, I was upset," Sirius said. Ariene rolled her eyes.
"I didn't really think." He said. That was a total lie, the speech he gave that night proved that.
"How many people have you told then? Moony? Prongs?" She asked, using the strange nicknames they excluded her from. Sirius faltered.
"Told what?" Sirius asked. Ariene looked at him in disbelief, before walking off again.
"Wait, what are you on about?"
"Is that what we're doing? Pretending I didn't tell you what I told you that night? That's fine." Ariene said. Sirius widened his eyes.
"I would never-"
"I really tried to make your birthday nice for you but after what you did, don't be surprised if we're not seeing much of each other. What is it those muggles say? I need some space? That is exactly how I feel. I need some space." Ariene said. Sirius shook his head.
"I'm sorry for telling Marlene. I really am."
"Oh yeah. I bet." Ariene said, walking far off.
