November 12

The next few days were some of the best days for Ariene. Sirius got over her pretty fast after he realized that she would not go in that direction. Remus and Ariene were a little more close now that she knew his big secret, and James was happy she was dating someone on the quidditch team and was always plenty supportive, and Peter was...tolerating. He didn't seem to know how to act around people like Ariene. Little did he know he was around them all the time, Remus being queer, and Ariene wouldn't put her money on Sirius being straight. Every minute with her and Marlene was exciting and new for the two of them. Every touch, kiss, giggle, it was all so wonderful. There was something a little thrilling about it being such a secret. It made Ariene blush just thinking about it.

"Guess who?" Marlene said, covering Ariene's eyes from behind.

"Marlene, stop that!" Ariene said, laughing. She turned and looked around before giving Marlene a quick kiss. They were safe, in Ariene's dorm.

"What are you, queer or something?" Marlene joked. Ariene giggled.

"Ugh, stop!" Sirius said. The two shot him a look. "It's nauseating!"

"Shut it. Ariene, I have an idea."

"Yes?" Ariene said, playing with Marlene's hair.

"Hogsmeade weekend is in two days."

"Mhm?"

"So I was thinking it would be a nice idea to go on a date!" Ariene paused.

"A date?"

"Yeah! We could go shopping and eat at the three broomsticks and I'll walk you back,"

"That sounds like what we do every hogsmeade weekend," Ariene said, now playing with Marlene's fingers.

"Yes, but this time it's as girlfriends!" Marlene said this word like she would never get enough of it. Sirius on the other hand had already heard it far too many times.

"Girlfriends!" He mocked in a childish tone. Once again, Ariene and Marlene gave him a look.

"Sure, Marlene. That sounds lovely." Ariene smiled. Marlene squealed and hugged Ariene before giving her a deep kiss. Sirius made vomiting sounds into his pillow. Ariene balled and tossed an empty foil wrapper at the back of his head.

"Oi, Remus!" Ariene asked. She ran up to his bed in the infirmary. He marked his page.

"Ariene," He said, acknowledging her.

"How was it? Are you okay?" Ariene asked him, ruffling his hair.

"I'm fine, and stop that!" Ariene stuck her hands back to her sides.

"Sorry," Ariene said, buzzing with excitement.

"What's got you all cheery?"

"I've got a date!"

"Wow, that's great. Good for you." Remus said dryly. Ariene rolled her eyes. He was so moody these days.

"Hey, Remus. I hate seeing you like this. Just talk to him!" Ariene said. Remus shook his head. Ariene sighed. Then, she had an idea.

"Moony! I have an idea!" She accentuated his nickname, glad she got to be a part of it.

"Shhh,"

"Moony, why don't you ask that boy! Grant!" Remus looked up at her, raising an eyebrow.
