The next morning Ariene had a mind-splitting headache. She sat up and groaned. Remus walked over to her with a glass of water.

"Ugh, thank you," She said, gladly drinking it. She made a sour face. That definitely wasn't water.

"That's for the hangover," Remus said.

"How do you know this?" Ariene asked.

"I've taken care of a lot of pissheads," Remus admitted. Ariene grinned.

"How's Sirius?" She asked.

"Quidditch practice," Remus said.

"Poor guy," Ariene said, chuckling. Remus nodded.

"So what happened last night?" He asked.

"Um, it's quite blurry, but I brought Firewhiskey from Hogsmeade and Sirius and I drank it,"

"How'd you get it?" Remus asked.

"Stole it," Ariene admitted sheepishly.

"I thought so," Remus said.

"Bad habit, you know?" She said.

"Believe me, I know."

"Secret?"

"Sort of,"

"Will you tell me?" Ariene asked, hoping for the best. Remus looked at her and smiled.

"Last year and the year before I made quite a fortune selling stolen fags." Remus said. Ariene grinned in awe.

"You stole them?" She asked. He nodded.

"And your parents didn't know?" She asked. An awkward silence came over them. Remus looked at her for a second.

"No, I live in a children's home." He said. Ariene nodded.

"Why do you steal? Sirius told me your family is even richer than his," Remus asked. Ariene grinned.

"The rush. It feels good to rebel." Ariene explained. Remus smiled. Ariene loved his smile.

"Here," He said, offering help to get up.

"Thanks. What do you have planned for today?" She asked.

"Oh, I think I'll just read," Remus said.

"That's boring. I've got an idea. I've just got to get dressed." She said. Remus smiled and left the dorm.

When she was dressed she walked out and took Remus's hand. She ran with him to the kitchens. There were tons of house-elves there, and the scent of cookies and cake filled the room.

"Hello!" They said, so happy to see them. There were all sorts of food and they offered them some. The elves even gave them a plate to put the food on. Satisfied, Remus and Ariene left the kitchens and went to the courtyard.

"This is fun! I didn't know you could just take food from the kitchens." Remus said. They ate the little muffins they got.

"I used to do this with my friend back at Beauxbatons," She said.

"Nice! Which friend?" He asked. She looked at him.

"You know." She said. He nodded.

"So who was it for you?" Ariene asked.

"Hm?"

"Who was the one that made you realize?"

"Oh! His name is Grant." Remus said.
