"I can't be with you..." San said tears falling down his face as he looked at the ground not being able to even look at Seonghwa in the eye.

"W-what... why.." Seonghwa asked as he could feel his heart breaking.

"I-I don't love you anymore" San lied, and felt horrible, this was extremely painful for him to do, but he had no choice.

"You don't mean that..." Seonghwa said, and made San look at him, his heart breaking even more when he saw how heartbroken the younger looked.

It's always been hard for San to keep his feelings hidden from Seonghwa, he was like an open book, the facial expressions always giving it away.

"You don't mean it... so why, why can't you be with me anymore..." Seonghwa asked.

San couldn't hold it anymore and just completely broke down crying.

Seonghwa hugged him and held him close whispering nothing but sweet things to the younger and gently rubbed his back, kissing the top of his head.

They stayed like that for a while till San calmed down.

"Can you talk to me now?" Seonghwa asked.

San sniffled and nodded "I'm getting married..." he said.

"What..." Seonghwa let go of him as the words "im getting married" settled into his head.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you.... I don't have a choice, my parents are forcing me to marry this girl I don't even like..." he said.

"YOU DO HAVE A CHOICE!!" Seonghwa yelled as tears fell down his face.

"Hwa-"

"NO!!" He yelled

"JUST NO!! YOU HAVE A CHOICE!!" He yelled again more tears falling down his face "San I don't want to leave you... I don't care what they say!! I want to be with you!" He cried.

San felt the tears well up again as he cupped Seonghwa's cheek "and I want to be with you.... but you know how my father is... I don't want anything to happen to you.." he said.

"T-then we'll just leave... go far sway from here please.." he held San's hand as he cried "please..."

"You know I want to... I'd give anything to.. but you remember what happened the last time we tried.." he said.

The memory was so vivid it terrified San as he could see Seonghwa curled up on the ground, bruises, cuts, and a bit of blood on his clothes from the beating. He couldn't let his father hurt Seonghwa again, not ever. So when his father came to him about the arrangement, telling him to break it off with Seonghwa, or he'd do it for him, he knew what he had to do right there and then.

"San I was okay..." Seonghwa said.

"No you weren't... and I won't let that happen again Seonghwa I love you so much.. I can't put you through that again." He said.

"But going through this marriage is what you want.... to be unhappy and live a miserable life... that's what you want?" He asked.

San was quite for a while and shook his head no. "I don't want go through with this at all..." he said
