I woke up an groaned a bit as I heard light shushing an movement.

"Child?" Slender asked softly as if not to wake me

I hummed as I refused to open my eyes, tempted to fall asleep again.

"You're awake, would you like to guess what time it is?" Trender teased softly

I knew where this was going as I started fully waking up and opened my eyes.

"No, I'd rather sleep till whatever the next day is." I replied tiredly

Splendor giggled and I heard a few chuckles.

"Darling, it's Saturday and the time is 10:34pm." Trender teased," the next day starts in about three an a half hours."

"Fuck." I said as I sat up

I stretched a bit an then looked at what I was leaning on.

"Oh my gosh- Ej I'm so sorry! Did you stay here all day- I'm so sorry- were you bored? Hungry? Tired- I didn't want to make you suffer-"

"Its alright, don't worry." Ej teased," I didn't wanna wake you or anything an stayed to make sure you were alright."

I still apologized Till slender stopped me an picked me up in his tendrils.

"Well at least you now seem to be well rested." Slender said, looking like he had more bad news

I looked around an saw a lot of the others did too.

'Is everything alright slender? Why does it look like you all have bad news?'

Slender cleared his throat as if to try not to hear my questions.

"Go ahead an go to you room and bathe or explore it some more." Slender said

I was confused but the remembered my mother.

"Oh shit! I have to go home, my mom is probably worried sick!" I said," I'll come get my backpack later but let me go-"

"Child...I think we may need to speak again about something you..well something you may not want to hear." Slender said softly

Persephone then appeared an she gave me a yellow rose crown with a single black rose and white rose side by side in the front.

I got the message as she disappeared and Hummed.

"Yellow roses mean friendship and joy." I said," meaning persephone is my friend...black roses mean death and white roses mean a deep message of hope, respect and love..."

I gently held the crown and couldn't have guessed right for anything in my life.

"That means she's here to support me through my loss of someone with great importance and is giving me her love, hope and respect..." I said softly,"...when did she die..?"

Slender sighed a heavy sigh and crouched to my human level.

"She died last night..." Slender explained," A Lightning Bolt hit a generator which caused a chain reaction, blowing up at least three buildings including your mothers work place."

I shut my eyes tight so I wouldn't think about it or make it worse.

"Ha ha...did zeus throw the bolt!" I said as a joke, trying not to imagine the damage or death

"Thats what persephone tried to figure out before she told us. But zeus did not as he wasn't in control of the storms last night, The God was in Heaven." Slender said," but we did get word that she at least didn't go in agony."
