cassie's adventure

chapter 6

We're lucky Sam didn't come with, or she would have to sit in someone's lap. "Cassie, we will all talk about the rules and rooming arrangements when we get home, then we will go shopping for you some more clothes. Is that ok with you?" I asked.

"Rules?" she groaned.
"It's not very many rules, and they're easy to follow." I told her laughing.

"Fine." She said.

"Well, we're here." I said as we pulled into the driveway.

"Oh my gosh this house is huge!" she exclaimed as she walked inside."Where is Sam? I knew something seemed weird," she asked.

"He's inside. He didn't want to come with us." Ricky said.

"Oh, ok." she answered.

"Jc, can you grab her stuff?" I asked Jc.

"Sure." He said, grabbing her stuff and taking it upstairs to my room.

"Sam, were home." I called out.

"Ok, where's the lucky girl?" Sam asked, still sounding upset. I'll have to talk to him about it later.

"She's right here Sam." I said, pointing to her. He walked up to her.

"Well, nice to meet you," he said with somewhat of a smile.

"Nice to meet you too. I'm Cassandra, but everybody calls me Cassie." She said with a huge smile on her face.

"Ok. Nice to meet you Cassie." Sam said, walking into the living room.

Cassie turned to me. "Dad, when are we gonna talk about the rules and stuff?" She asked. I smiled. She called me Dad.

"We'll do that now. Let's go to the living room." We all walked into the living room and sat on the couches. I spoke. "First off, for at least two weeks, don't leave the yard without one of us." I said.

"If you are just going outside, just let one of us know."

"Ok, that's fine with me." Cassie replied happily.

"About the room arrangements, tonight you'll stay in my room. Then, starting tomorrow, you can sleep in whoever 's room you want til your's is set up." I said.

"Ok." She said.

"Now go change so we can go shopping!" I told her in a white girl voice. She laughed and walked up the stairs to change.
