Two puddles were formed outside of the cave entrance form the dismissal of the elementals the next morning. Scar conversing with Ashley as they were cooking some sort of large bird that Ben had slain earlier in the morning. He was chatting with his cousin about her being a fire naturalist like himself, laughing as she stated, 'what did the whole family become one of these things.'

Ashley was telling her cousin how hard it was to do these unnatural manipulations. Scar smiling at how much of a novice she was. When he had first acquired the skill he had learned quickly, but now days the newcomers were being taught at a slow pace. Guess that is the difference between an instructor in a safe environment and a demon trying to rip you in half. Scar gave her a few pointers that had helped him along his way. He also told her how bad of a teacher a water naturalist can be when trying to teach the counter element. Both began to laugh at that since Ben was not in ear shot and had left the safety of the cave for some unknown reason.

Sonya was awake, ignoring the two from the time she had first awakened to now. Ben hand been long gone since then. The Lord was upset at her loss, mostly at herself for being so unprepared and foolish. She was standing in the doorway, leaning against the rock wall with her gaze upon the steppe terrain. Her leather pants were gone from having been torn apart from her redemption technique, in its place was an old ragged pair of jeans that were too big for her. The pants held at the waist by a rope. Bandages were wrapped around one of her biceps, around a forearm, and from one shoulder to her waist. She was nude from the waist up except for the bandaging that barely covered her nipples.

The woman noting that Scar had the same injury across his chest but she just continued to glare at him whenever he dare to get too close. It didn't matter for him, he was just a mere man. The Lord truly didn't care and had turned her back on the two cooking a meal.

"Put some clothes on," Ben said as he came walking up toward the entrance of the cave as if he just spawned from nothing. The man never looking down at her body as most men would to admire the perfect shape she had; instead he kept his eyes with her hate filled gaze.

"Screw you asshole," Sonya growling at him. "Apparently you've already seen me naked."

Ben went walking into the cave carrying two dead rabbits that had looked like they hadn't eaten in a long time. "I told you, if you want to beat on me that is fine. Right now you need to heal and you don't have enough mana to use redemption for a couple days still. I couldn't let you bleed to death, so just tally that onto your list of why I am to be killed."

Sonya held her glare. The aura of killer instinct growing from her. The man was right, her power was too low to call upon the redemption technique. The strain on her body had been more than ever. Prior to her and Ben's fight, she had only used that technique a couple of times and only for a couple minutes. Still the Hunter was no man.

Ben had beaten the Lord of the fire district without using the technique called Redemption. This was unheard of, but it had happened. She had begged the angels of heaven to grant her the knowledge to user her own power to its fullest. After endless days in prayer a female angel had given her an answer. It took countless nights, but she had finally mastered Redemption. Tyrael stating that she was one of the very few to master such power.

The man had taken every hit she threw at him, allowing the woman to vent her rage and hate. The man ended everything in what felt like two moves to her. His attacks were so strong that she could almost not block them. He was stronger than anything or anyone she had fought. No one could be that strong and yet here he was.

After the battle Ben having found bandages in his two enemies packs had taken care of them. Anyone else would have left them to die or worse, devoured them. Instead he used what was left of his red vial. A drop from it on every wound that would help the healing process. It sped up the body's healing speed and helped stop bleeding. He had ten small vials when he started his search for Ashley. Now he had none.
