Hikaru knew that healing quirks were rare. It's why she was useful after all, but it didn't mean she wanted to be here, healing again and again, watching as children 10 years younger than her get beat up by some entitled adult. She would heal them for a quick fix just so they could suffer longer, Hikaru didn't want to be a hero, not like the children who think this was some sort of blessed training.

So when alarms blared and the door was ajar, Hikaru bolted. She didn't care for the misguided and brainwashed children she left behind, and she as hell didn't give a fuck about the adults. So run she did, they were chasing, but as long as that cinnamon asshole didn't get involved or God forbid hawks, Hikaru knew she had a chance, if but a small one.

Hikaru ignored the fact she didn't know where she was going, trying to ignore the hands and the quirk canceling darts and nets bouncing off of her protective shield as she passed by adults. There were words being shouted from the speakers by some computer generated voice."KK#20520 has been taken." Or some shit like that, not like Hikaru truly cared, guess she wasn't the only one to take it as a chance to escape.

Hikaru did note that whoever this person was had a 20 at the end of their identification, meaning they were quikless, good for them Hikaru supposed.

Hikaru had never seen a single window in this place, if she did she would have jumped out of it a long time ago, so when Hikaru found an elevator everything sort of clicked, she had never really thought about exactly where this was, but it made quite a bit of sense for it to be underground.

Hikaru looked up at the blinking lights, damn, someone who had started out only two floors above Hikaru was really banking for the top of the building, and when Hikaru said there were a lot of floors Hikaru meant there were a lot of Goddamn floors. Looking around Hikaru backed herself against the wall and activated her quirk, the elevator was practically at a dead end.

Taking a breath Hikaru crouched down and readied herself to run at any moment, flicking a piece of curly brown hair out of her face. At some point an alarm went off for Hikaru too, and she hoped she got to the elevator first before anyone else.

It was here when things started getting really fucking weird.

A wall opened, it was only a bit away from Hikaru, but who cares about that, a wall just opened. It had a strange green glow, whatever was in the room, and Hikaru could only steady herself and hope nobody's coming out of the room, because if someone was Hikaru was fucked.

And Hikaru waited, and waited, but nobody came. Eventually Hikaru got close enough to see inside, stairs going up with the weirdest dramatic lightning that was completely unnecessary. Hikaru looked around and thought, fuck it. Anyone could come down this hall at any point and I don't know if you noticed, ya know, the people reading this fanfiction, Hikaru was on a time crunch.
