Seeking Comfort- John Deacon

TW: MENTIONS OF SUICIDE

It had happened. My worst fear.

As I opened the door to our flat, I fell on my knees in a pool of sadness. John and I had just gotten home from my Dads funeral. He'd killed himself.

I never bothered to read his suicide note, it killed me too much to even think about it.

John sat by my side, rubbing my back and whispering small encouragements into my ear. "How about we go get into some cozy clothes and cuddle for a while? Huh?" He said, never failing to comfort me. I slowly nodded. "Can we watch a movie too?" He smiled and nodded. "What do you have in mind?" I thought for a moment. "Nothing comes to mind."

There was a small pause. "Can you show me a movie I've never seen before? Something new."

"Of course, I have an amazing idea. But first let's get you out of that itchy dress, okay?" I nodded as he scooped me up in his arms and i wrapped mine around his neck. "Thank you."I said in between sniffles.

"What for?"

"For being here with me. For existing." He smiled. "Well, you've got to thank my mother for that one. She's the one who created me." He retorted, causing me to chuckle for the first time in months.

He sat me down on the bed, going over to the wardrobe to retrieve some cozy clothes for both of us. He grabbed two pairs of his sweatpants and two of his hoodies.

He came back over, and helped me get dressed. He was so careful with me. like i was a doll made out of glass that was kept in a grandmothers kitchen for decoration. He knew i was emotionally and physically weak. I hadn't eaten properly in a few days, nothing but a few glasses of orange juice, water, and a sandwich every once and a while.

Once he was done changing me, he put be under the covers and got himself dressed. i hugged a pillow, finding so much comfort in it i didn't realize that John had slipped a tape into the telly and crawled in next to me.

"Hey you" he said, laying next to me so he was looking me right in the eye. "so what movie did you pick?" I asked, shifting slightly. "It's a movie called Ferris Buellers Day Off. I think you'll like it..."

OK this is short i know BUT the the next chapter will be a super long one that is based off of the movie Truly Madly Deeply, it's really really good but you will ugly cry. i promise you will.

i cant decide which band member to use though, it has to be a Queen member. And the male protagonist needs to be kinda soft, so I'm thinking Brian. idk, but it'll be out soon i promise:)
