That fucking time of the month. That. Ugh. Fuck my life.

I rolled out of bed, throwing on a Beatles t-shirt and sweatpants. The ultimate comfort. As I stumbled out into the kitchen, Roger stood at the counter in a short pink robe that was also mine.

"Morning sunshi- you ok?" He said, sipping his coffee. Roger was my flatmate and best friend, he was always there for me and i was for him.

"Yeah I'm fine, its just my period."

"J-j-just your period?! Oh nonono honey you go back to bed. Give me a half hour and ill be in there with some necessities." He rambled (A/N: ramble oooon and how's the time the time is now to sing my song I'm going around the world i gotta find my girl) I put my hands up defensively and waltzed back to my room.

I plopped back down onto my bed and turned on the Telly, Ferris bueller'S day off was the only thing on.

 * Roger's POV*

I had to call Brian. Though I knew I had to get her some stuff I didn't know what. Ibuprofen or Tylenol? Huge bear or chocolates? Candy or her favorite lunch? Fuck fuck fuck.

"Hello?" Brian asked when he picked up. "Ahhhh yes, ok. So yen is on her period and I can tell that it's bad, it's her first day on it I think which is always the worst for her. Anyways I want to go get her some stuff to feel better but I don't know what. And you seem like you always know what to do to help people. Sooooo what do I do." I ranted, awaiting a response.

"We'll, first of all, get her some Tylenol. That works best for period cramps, most of the time. Gatorade also helps too, so get her favorite flavor of that. Also get her something cozy, like a bear or a blanket or something. Then get her favorite food, that'll help her appetite. I've met some girls that can't even remember to eat on their periods, so make sure of that. Then also get her some sweets, but not too many or else she'll have other stomach pains to worry about. And lastly, be there for her. So hug her, get her anything she needs, comfort her, all that. Another great thing you could do is to get her a movie, whether it's her favorite movie or a movie you wanna try, anything. Just make her feel special. Any questions?" He finished, I stood in awe at his knowledge.

"Just one question...where do I get all of this?" I ask, hoping there was just one place that had all of it. "Any drug store will have it all. Aside from her favorite lunch, that you'll have to pick up separately." I nodded. "Thank you so much Bri, I owe you one."

"Really? Because there's this thing in my.." I hung up before I could hear what he had to say. I'd already lost a solid two minutes out of my thirty.

I needed to head down to the nearest grocery store, pick up a bunch of stuff. And then drive all the way across town to get her favorite lunch. Dammit.

*y/n pov*

The movie finished, considering I started it halfway through. And just as Edward Rooney got onto the bus, I heard Rogers raspy voice yelling from the front door. "I'm backkkkkkk."

He came in, barring two stuffed grocery bags and one from my favorite restaurant. "What did you.."

"Shhhhhh. Let me show you what I got." He sat down on the corner of the bed. "Okay, so I've got red Gatorade, chocolates, a fuzzy blanket, some candy, some Tylenol, and your favorite..." he handed me the bag. I opened it to reveal my favorite meal. "Thank you so so so much, Roger but it's just one period, you're setting the bar pretty high." I chuckled. "Ohhh come on."

"Oh one more thing...I stopped and got us a new movie to try. It just came out, it's that movie that David was talking bout. Labyrinth. Anyways, I thought we could try it, eh?" I smiled, I've been wanting to watch this movie for forever, and now I finally get to.

I wrapped my new blanket around me, eating my lunch and sipping my Gatorade. While Roger lay next to me, rubbing my back. I downed some Tylenol with my Gatorade when I finished my lunch, just as Sarah entered the Labyrinth.

She looked down either end, "argh they both look the same!" She complained, contemplating.

As I took one final sip of my Gatorade, I laid back down and cuddled up next to Roger. He wrapped his arm around me, his hand ending up in my hair.

We finished the movie, still laying together. He turned off the light on the bedside table, never letting go of me, and we went to bed early that night.
