You remember hearing Diane and Gherade calling out for the triplets about an hour after they started playing hide and seek, only for them to ignore them. Eventually, Lancelot was thrown into the mix. Your nephew had a keen sense of smell, and you knew he would find the triplets. Lancelot carefully checked everywhere he could until he caught a small whiff of lavender, Queenie's scent. His eyes widened as he ran after the trail of now both Queenie and Harley's scents. He then finally picked up Helbram's scent as well. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him, with you and Harlequin trying to keep up. Eventually, you got to a clearing where Helbram had what looked to be scratches all over him. Harlequin used Chastiefol to first heal Helbram, and then configured it into Guardian to grab the triplets. When they came face to face with their father, they all started sweating nervously. "Ahaha... hey father, uh, how are you today?" Harley tried nervously, only to receive a glare from his father. "You three are grounded for two weeks for this. You are to go to your rooms as soon as we get home, and you are to not come out unless it's for meals or to ask us something. Other than that, you stay in your rooms." he scolded, causing the triplets to turn to you, who had tears in your eyes. Queenie, the youngest, tried to speak, but was silenced by the look Harlequin gave her. She looked down at her feet and then sighed. Helbram then spoke. "Hey, don't drag Queenie into this, she didn't do anything!" he shouted. Harley backed him up. "Yeah, it isn't fair that she also gets punished for what we did!" he said, causing Queenie to look at both of them in slight shock. "Guys, it's fine, just let it be." she said, trying to diffuse the situation. "Let this be a lesson to never do something like this ever aga-" You walked up to your husband and interrupted him by yanking his collar before pulling him down to your level and pressing your lips against his. His face immediately went from angry to shocked as he stared at you. You then pulled away and smiled. "I'm sorry, what were we talking about again?" he asked, causing you to laugh softly. The boys smirked before you faced them. "You two are still grounded, but only for a week." you said, causing them to pout. You then thanked Diane and Gherade before turning to your nephew and thanking him as well. "Thanks Lancelot, you really helped us out here." you said, causing him to smile and then hug you. You watched as he went with Gherade and Diane back to his house before picking up Queenie and Harley. Helbram got on your shoulders and yawned, having gotten tired from the running he did. By the time you got home with your husband, Harley and Queenie had fallen asleep, while Helbram was in Harlequin's arms dozing lightly. After putting the three of them to bed, you went to your bedchambers and changed into your nightgown before turning to your husband. You then grabbed his ear and tugged on it. "Hey, (Y/N) that hurts, please stop love." he said, trying to get you to let go of him. You grabbed his arm and dragged him to the bed before you got in with him and got under the covers. You then spoke in a slightly threatening tone. "You should know better than to talk to children like that. They are our kids for crying out loud." you said, glaring at him. He held up his hands in slight self defense as you facepalmed. "Harlequin, Harley and Helbram look up to you so much. They've never gotten in trouble before, so take it easy on them before you start being harsh. Besides, they're only seven, they don't know what worries us yet, so please don't be like that towards them." you said, your scolding ending in a whisper. The ginger haired male sighed before he pinched the bridge of his nose. He remembered finding you when you still lived with your very abusive father, and he also remembered you flinching away from him the first few months he ever tried to even touch you to get your attention. Tears slowly made their way down your cheeks as you recalled the memories of your past. Harlequin saw this and immediately tended to you, wiping the tears away with his thumbs as he sighed. "I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring those times up. Please, don't think about it, he's long gone and you know he is." he said, hugging you tightly as you hugged him back. He knew you were looking out for the triplets because you had a soft spot for them and children in general. "Ok, I won't be so harsh with them, but please, don't cry (Y/N)." he begged, causing you to nod softly before burying your face in his chest and then closing your eyes. You felt his fingers run through your hair slowly as you started falling asleep in his arms. You then eventually drifted off to sleep, your husband joining you shortly after.
