Hey guys, this was a request from @JamaciaDane2. Sorry it took so long but hope you guys enjoy!

Arthur watched as you left the Yawn of the Black Cat, a soft sigh escaping as a white cloud into the frigid winter air. You had been in a relationship with him for over a year, and had been meeting with him in secret at said tavern to talk and to have dinner together. In truth, Arthur knew he shouldn't get too attached to you, considering you were the biggest and most problematic target his family had to deal with in ages. You were from the royal family of Liones, and had magical power unlike Margaret or Veronica, which was uncommon in your family, considering only your father had magic. Your magical power was shapeshifting, which allowed you to gather information rather quickly, and therefore made you one of the targets of the Pendragon family, unfortunately, rather quickly.

Arthur waited on your bed for you to get to your chambers, having always liked to scare or startle you when he visited to talk to you. When he saw you enter, he jumped out in front of you, causing you to yelp softly in surprise. You then laughed before closing the door behind you. "Arthur, what are you doing in my room?" you asked, cupping his face in your hands as you leaned in to kiss him. His lips met yours as he held you there in his gentle embrace, his arms wrapped around your waist as he kept you close. "Sorry, I haven't been able to visit because Kay keeps me busy so often. I feel as though the last time I slept was ages ago." he said, stretching before walking up to you and kissing you once again as the door opened. You saw someone in the doorway and jumped behind Arthur, who sighed in disappointment when he saw that it was Merlin. "You know we have to kill her, right, Arthur?" she questioned. He nodded before hearing a deep voice behind him. "Fine then, if the runt won't, then I will." Kay said, aiming for your chest as he took his knife out to stab you, but recoiled in horror when he stabbed Arthur in the stomach as the ginger haired male threw you out of the way. Kay quickly pulled the knife out of Arthur's stomach before Merlin handed him some bandages. She then looked at you and sighed. "It's obvious that he's not going to stop unless we leave her alive, so why don't we take this to our father instead. After all, Escanor was a target of ours at one point, and now I'm engaged to him. Besides, it's not as though father controls us, he might be understanding about this." she commented as Kay lifted up a now unconscious Arthur. "As if I would let her live for allowing Arthur to get hurt by me." he snarled at you. "Understand that I will make you pay for this." he threatened, quickly running off with Arthur in his arms, leaving you and Merlin alone. "I've heard about you before, (Y/N), and the same goes for your family. Stay safe and be careful, I'll come back once I get an answer to whether or not you're off the targets list." she said, causing you to nod softly before you saw her teleport away.

Weeks passed, and no sign of any of the three coming back was found. One evening, after a rough training practice that left you exhausted and covered in scratches and bruises, you got up to your room and saw Merlin sitting on your bed, reading a book. She looked up and smiled when she saw you enter the room. She nodded softly, and that was all you needed to know that she had managed to persuade her father to let you off the hook. You laughed in relief and hugged her tightly before she nodded, smiling. "I best get going, but you might want to get dressed in something nice, father wants to meet you, and I can't promise he will like the fact that you're the one that Arthur is in a relationship with. Kay will come to pick you up in about an hour, and you should get here safely if he doesn't throttle you for still being alive." she said, dropping an instant healing bead before leaving as your wounds healed.

You chose to wear a (F/C) dress and a pair of boots in case you had to walk a long distance. However, luckily enough for you, Kay decided to carry you... whilst cursing at and threatening you. From what little he told you, Arthur had fully healed, but he was busy on a mission, and would be back when dinner was ready. You finally got to the Pendragon mansion and marveled at how beautiful it was. The roof was made of dark sunglow shingles, while the rest of the house was mostly light brick. The doorway was elegant and grand, and there was a throne of sorts when you walked in. you saw the dining room and then the lounge, where a man with ginger hair akin to Arthur's was sitting, sharpening a hunting knife. His eyes met yours in a slightly intense stare, before his features softened into a gentle smile. "Ah, Lady (Y/N), it is a pleasure to meet you in person." he said, welcoming you into the room. Merlin was shining a pair of dirty boots in the seat next to the fireplace, and nodded to you as you walked in. you sat down in the single chair furthest away from the fireplace, in case either Kay or his father tried anything. Mr. Pendragon easily figured out why you were sitting so close to the exit, and chuckled slightly, causing your gaze to snap over to him. "My dear, though you are smart and fast, if I wanted you dead, I would have killed you the moment you walked through that door with my son. Although, I probably would have told him to do so, but I would gladly take on the challenge of assassinating you myself as well." he said, his deep orchid eyes landing on you. "Besides, Merlin seems to enjoy your company here, so I'd prefer not to kill you." he said, his gaze flicking lazily over to his daughter. "I must admit though, Kay also seems to despise your very existence, so I would not be totally against it, but enough talk of your highly unlikely demise, Arthur is almost home." he said, getting up and holding out a hand for you to take. "Please, allow me to take you on a tour of the place." he said. You nodded softly, following him through the long winding corridors of the Pendragon Estate.

Arthur sighed as he dropped his bag at the door, trudging up the stairs as he groaned internally at the thought of seeing Kay tonight and facing a painful lecture from his brother. Merlin would likely defend him, which comforted him, albeit only slightly. He was about to go to his room when he heard your laughter coming from the lounge area, and he sprinted to the lounge before Merlin spoke. "It appears that Arthur is back, come in, won't you, brother?" she asked, causing him to nod as he walked in. your eyes widened as you saw his bruised form enter the room. "Arthur, what happened?" you asked, causing him to shrug. You walked up to him before taking his hand and leading him to where the medical wing of the house was. There was a nurse on standby when you walked past a few minutes ago, and you were confident that even if she wasn't there, you would take care of him yourself. After he had been bandaged up, you helped him get back to the lounge, sitting beside him as he caught his breath from walking with a lot of injuries like this. You let him rest against you, his head on top of yours as he slept lightly. Kay scowled, and brandished a knife, only for his eyes to widen when he saw Arthur giving him a death stare. He sighed in defeat before telling everyone he was off to his room, with Arthur's father telling all of you the same. A little while after, Merlin told you that she would help you get Arthur to his room, and levitated him in the air as the two of you walked, talking about how she was happy that her brother had found someone he loved as much as she loved Escanor. When the two of you got to Arthur's room, you saw the elegant yet simplistic design of the place. The designs were that of interlaced flowers, with a gold coating over them. The shelves had a few books and miscellaneous objects lining them and such, along with a journal of his missions on his desk. You set him down on the bed and thanked Merlin before she left, closing the door behind her. You turned to your lover, his orchid eyes gazing up at you as he smiled sheepishly. You sighed before sitting beside him and cupping his face in your hands. He rested in your gentle grasp, his eyes flicking down to your lips and lingering there. You noticed this, and leaned in before gently pressing your lips against his, lingering there before pulling away shortly after. You got under the covers with him and wrapped your arms around his waist. You rested your head against his chest, breathing in the faint scent of petrichor that he gave off from so much time out in the wilderness. You hummed softly as you started to gently massage Arthur's shoulders. Arthur relaxed as you did so, smiling softly down at you as he rested his head on top of yours. "I missed you while I was gone." he said, causing you to laugh slightly. "I missed you too, Arthur." you replied, snuggling into the warmth he provided as you yawned. You were exhausted from tonight, and needed to sleep. "Rest, you look like you need it. I'll wake you up when the time comes." Arthur reassured you, causing you to nod sleepily as you closed your eyes and fell asleep, held close by the man you loved.
