Gloxinia x Mother reader

Gloxinia remembered everything from the day the two of you had your first child, (D/N), who had your (E/C) eyes and Gloxinia's crimson hair. She was a quiet one, always clinging onto her father's leg whenever she was around him. The funny thing was, Gloxinia didn't know exactly how to react every time he saw his tiny three year old running towards him, since she couldn't fly yet. He was happy, of course, but he didn't know what to do once she was with him.

The Fairy King was talking to Ludociel and Mael about the next mission with Drole next to him when he hears his daughter calling for him. "Father, where are you?" (D/N) calls out, smiling with bright (E/C) eyes when she spots her father. Gloxinia turned to see her running as fast as she could to get to him, her arms open wide as she jumped into his arms and hugged him tightly. "I had no idea you had a daughter, Gloxinia." Ludociel commented, causing him to smirk. "I prefer to keep my work and personal lives separate, thank you, but yes, I do have a daughter." he said, walking off as Ludociel spoke. "What about-" "Don't care, you can tell me tomorrow when I'm back." the fairy said, smiling as he looked down at (D/N). "Now then, where is your mother?" he asked, causing her to smile. "She's at home, and she wanted me to get you to come home too." she said, leaning against her father as he tensed up slightly. Even now, it was still surreal that he was holding his child that the two of you had together. You were currently at home because you were expecting another child, which made your husband overjoyed when he heard the news. Of course, since his alliance with the Goddess Race took so much time to maintain, and since the Demon Race kept advancing on Stigma every day, it was hard to keep up with everything that was going on. Gloxinia remembered more occasions than he cared to count where he came home exhausted, only to find that you were waiting patiently for him as (D/N) slept with her head on your lap. You always would check him over to see if he was alright, making sure he healed himself while he was out fighting. After that, you would put (D/N) to bed in her room and then join Gloxinia so that the two of you could sleep.

Gloxinia walked through the entrance to your shared home with him, heaving a deep and relieved sigh when he saw you float over to him. (D/N) ran off and went to her room, grabbing her toys so she could play with them out in the living room of the house. When she got back, the small girl ran over to her father and asked him to play with her. The crimson haired fairy stared down at her, not knowing what to do, and then looked at you. "Father, did I say something wrong?" she asked, worried. Gloxinia shook his head and walked with her, smiling as she explained to him what she wanted to do. He knew to separate his mentality during his time at work from his thought process at home, but rarely, if ever, was the golden eyed male at home, so he savored moments like these. As (D/N) played with her dolls, Gloxinia watched, impersonating the voice of one of the dolls of a knight that you had made for her a few years ago. Eventually, the sun had set, with the moon almost up at its highest point in the sky. (D/N) had fallen asleep with the knight doll in her hand, too tired but also not tired enough to stop playing until she closed her eyes and fell asleep. Gloxinia used telekinesis and made the dolls float back to (D/N)'s room before he put her down to sleep in her bed. You, meanwhile, went upstairs after he offered to get (D/N) to bed, putting on the comfortable nightgown you had been given by your husband that stretched comfortably over your baby bump. You were getting in bed when Gloxinia came into the room. He floated over to you and got in bed next to you, holding you close as he gently put his hands on your baby bump. The male was surprised by you laughing slightly as he held you closer. "What's so funny, petal?" he asked, causing you to smile lovingly up at him. "Oh, nothing, it's just that, for a man who loves children, you certainly don't know how to react to having one." you chuckled, causing him to sigh once again before looking down at you. "I know how to raise a child, I just didn't know how to react when she wanted to play with me." he huffed, causing you to laugh and shake your head. The male gently tilted your chin up to where he was looking directly into your eyes, causing your face to turn slightly red. He then leaned in and gently pressed his lips against yours, kissing you softly. After he separated from you, he rested his head on top of yours, with one hand gently running through your hair and one resting on your baby bump. You relaxed and closed your eyes, falling asleep in his arms.
