If there was one thing that you were insecure about, it was your wings.

As a Goddess, though a rather short Goddess compared to the rest of your race, your wings were expected to be smaller than they turned out to be, and plenty of people gave you hell on earth about it. It started with Howzer, who laughed when he saw your wings, and then continued with Meliodas and Ban, who also laughed, and there were few Fairies and Celestials who didn't say: "well, at least your wings are smaller than (Y/N)'s wings. Look at hers, they're so large." it was a statement you heard all too often. However, one person who never laughed at you was Harlequin, the Fairy King. In fact, he would always say that they looked beautiful, and that you shouldn't hide them. Plenty of men from the Goddess Race turned you down because of the fact that your wings being bigger than theirs hurt their pride. However, Harlequin would trace them and tell you about how soft they were, and how he wished that he could have wings like you did. Eventually, he got them, but they were still smaller than yours. Before he left for the battle against the Demon Race, he showed you four small wings on his back, sighing in relief when he told you that you would soon be dating a Fairy King with wings bigger than yours. When you stayed behind to defend Liones, he told you he would see you after the fighting had stopped, and that he would travel all over Britannia with you by his side.

When you saw Harlequin next, he had changed completely. His hair looked different, his voice was deeper, and his wings. Oh goodness, they were the prettiest wings you had ever seen on a fairy, Gloxinia be damned. You had never seen so many shades of blue in your life, and they were fitting for him. They looked so beautiful, and they felt like the wings of a dragonfly when you touched them. He puffed out his chest and smirked. "See, my wings are bigger than yours." he proclaimed proudly, causing you to look at his wings and then yours. Yours were slightly bigger, which made you sigh deeply as you spoke. "Harlequin, mine are still larger." you said, causing him to look at his and then yours. "Oh, well, who cares, right? They're wings, it's not like it's the end of the world if mine are smaller than yours." he tried, causing you to nod. He then picked you up and flew up past the clouds, before he settled to where he was gliding. The moonlight reflected off of the gorgeous white feathers of your wings, giving them an ethereal glow that mesmerized your boyfriend. He cupped your face in his hands and smiled. "They might be bigger than mine, but they're also much more beautiful." he said, his loving gaze resting on you. "(Y/N), can I ask you something?" he asked, causing you to nod, before he took your hand and flew down to where the two of you were standing in a large forest, though it wasn't the Fairy King's Forest. He took your hands into his as he spoke. "When everything is over, let's get married and travel the world together, alright?" he asked, causing your face to heat up as you blushed a deep shade of red. "I, well, um..." you stammered. "You don't have to say anything, because I'm fine without getting married just yet, but just, think it over, alright?" he asked, causing you to shake your head. "No, no, it's not that. It's just that the question caught me off guard, that's all." you replied, before hugging him tightly as you spoke. "Of course I will, Harlequin." you whispered, causing him to smile as he hugged you back, before pulling away and putting a hand on your cheek. He then leaned in and kissed you on the lips, his eyes slipping closed as yours did the same. "Thank you, (Y/N). Thank you so much. Now then," he pulled away and spoke. "Let's go back to the Boar Hat, alright?" he asked, causing you to nod softly, before the two of you flew together through the night sky, hand in hand.
