Drole x reader fluffy angst

Hey guys, this was a request from @gotillagripbussy. Sorry for not posting in a while, but school for me just started and I've been kind of low on motivation lately. Anyways, *Hands tissues* enjoy!

You peacefully sat in a field of lilies and hummed softly to yourself. Meanwhile, your husband, Drole, was laying his head down on your lap, listening to you hum as he rested. Stigma had been gracious enough to give him a day of rest, so he decided to spend it with you. You were making a flower crown for Drole, and a few floral bracelets with Gherade for yourself as well. Gherade was helping alongside Gloxinia to do this. You finally made a flower crown for Drole and then told him to sit up. He did so, watching as you carefully placed the flower crown on his head. "There, a crown fit for a king." you said as you bowed jokingly and giggled. Gherade was finished making the bracelet for you, and tapped you on the shoulder before she fastened it around your wrist. The flower crown and the bracelet matched, so that everyone would know exactly who the Giant King was married to. "It's nice. I think I'll wear it for now." Drole commented, causing you to blush a deep shade of red. "Wait, really?" you asked, causing him to smile softly and nod his head yes. You smiled and then hugged the male tightly, wrapping your arms around his neck. You then got up and asked the other three to follow you back to the forest, a request they complied to. After a while of walking, you and Drole got to where you lived and went to the bedroom to rest.

You looked around you, nursing an injured leg and trying your hardest not to stop searching for Drole. You wanted to know where Drole was, to make sure he was alright. You looked everywhere, only to find nothing. However, you eventually found a clearing filled with rubble and destroyed trees...

... and Drole's flower crown.

Hot tears stained your face as you screamed at the heavens for doing this to you. You never wanted to lose him, but you knew that some of the most supportive and loving people in your life have to go.

You looked at the ball of light above you as Mael fused with the four Commandments he had gathered. Tears ran down your cheeks as rays of deadly light beams and darkness rained down, one of them aiming for you. It was as if time had slowed down when one of the beams of light came towards you. It hit you head on, completely disintegrating your body into nothing as the others continued to fight.

You opened your eyes in a golden field of tall grass and looked around. "How... peaceful. What is this place? Where am I?" You thought to yourself. You realized that the grass was tall and you looked at the trees around you, only to find that you were shorter than them. You then heard footsteps behind you and turned around to face who it was. You covered your mouth with your hands, tears filling your own (E/C) eyes as you gazed into two beautiful purple eyes.

You ran to him and tackled him to the ground, still slightly hearing the sounds of fighting, but they started to fade. "Do you want to keep helping them?" he asked, looking through a small portal window in the air that showed Elizabeth floating down with Diane, King, Hawk, and Gowther. Mael was back to normal now, and decided to join them. You shook your head no and then looked at your husband. "I believe I want to rest now. I've been fighting my whole life, but I don't want to fight anymore, I want to rest." you said. He nodded softly and then leaned in before gently placing his lips against yours. You looked up at him and saw that he had a flower crown on his head and then smiled before you spoke.

"That truly is a crown fit for a king."
