Hey guys, this request is from @Fairy_Hedgehog. Hope you guys enjoy!
Gloxinia loved you dearly, so much so that he would put your life before his. You were from the Giant Race, and you were also Gloxinia's lover. Of course, the Holy War separated the two of you, but fate loves to make odd twists and turns, and this certainly was an unexpected one, happening at the Vaizel Fighting Festival.
You gripped your sword tightly, defending yourself from the Earth Crawler that attacked you, but you became confused when it was blown away. There stood two humans, one with pink hair and blue eyes, and another with blond hair and violet eyes. You grabbed the two and held them in your palm, smiling at them. "Goodness, humans never do change, do they. Still so odd, and still so small." you sighed, before turning to where you saw a wall. They introduced themselves as Howzer and Gilthunder, Holy Knights of Liones. You sighed deeply as you concentrated, before blowing the wall apart to reveal a few other people, one of which was a giant, the other two being a human and a pig. You set down the humans and then walked over to the giant, having never met these people before. You had stayed with Gherade in the Fairy King's Forest, and watched over it during the time that Harlequin was absent. Speaking of Fairies, more specifically the Fairy King, you missed Gloxinia, and figured that if Drole were here, then maybe he was, too. You saw the Earth Crawler that attacked them roar, and charged at it. "Drole's Dance!" you shouted, spinning and leaping and flipping over the beast as you gathered the Earth's power into your being. You managed to land a heavy blow on the Earth Crawler, but before it could get back up, it froze. "Why is it so cold?" Gilthunder asked. "Freezing it, slime and all, is most efficient." a voice said. You looked up at a mage, waving with a smile. "Hey, any of you guys know 'em? They seem cool." you remarked, causing the crowd to shake their heads. "Thanks, but, who are you?" Gilthunder asked.
When you finally saw Meliodas again, you beamed with a wide smile as you knocked him into a wall, activating 'Heavy Metal' as he launched himself at you and knocked you into another wall. "Well then, look who we have here. Hey Meliodas, how are you?" you asked, causing him to smile. "Doing good. I gotta say, (Y/N), it's good to see ya again!" he said, before he addressed the bigger problem there. "So, have you sensed him here yet?" he asked, causing you to tilt your head in confusion, before you gasped. "He's actually here?!" you exclaimed, causing him to look at the ground and nod. "Oh, so that's how it is then, huh?" you asked, causing him to nod once more. "Well then, let's get moving, shall we? We have a festival to get to." you advised, causing everyone to nod in agreement.
You got to the base of the huge boulder thing and finally sensed his presence, your knees going weak as you saw the same man you had loved for millenia, while he killed who knew how many humans still in the maze. The festival then started rather quickly, (with one minor outburst from King, but what's new?) and you were sorted onto a platform of your own without anyone else. You sat alone, watching every fight.
And then came Escanor's turn.
You watched in awe as he launched a small sun at Gloxinia and Drole, before the dust cleared and the 'Gigant Gauntlet' was closed by Drole. The only problem with that was that you weren't inside of said 'Gigant Gauntlet' when it was closed. You desperately tried to pry it open, and failed, before the gauntlet was pulled underground out of reach. "Oh no." you mumbled to yourself, looking over at Gloxinia and Drole as you felt the presence of about seven more Commandments appear, as you tried to hide behind a wall. "Did she try to hide behind a wall?" Derieri deadpanned, causing Gloxinia to sigh deeply, before he used Basquias to trap you in its eighth configuration, 'Emerald Octo'. You smelled the sleep inducing pheromones that it produced and soon fell asleep, while Meliodas was killed just outside of your 'cocoon of safety'.
When you woke up again, you found yourself in a large enclosed area, in front of a very large and deep lake, which was glowing. You looked out and saw a floating hut of sorts on a very thick lilypad, and saw it coming towards you. When you saw it turn around, your eyes widened, as Gloxinia looked up at you. He looked nervous, but you didn't notice, and reached for him, managing to grab hold of him and lift him up to eye level. "Gloxinia, is that really you?" you asked, causing him to look down before nodding softly. Tears started welling up in your eyes, and before long, you were holding him to where he was pressed up against your cheek, with tears rolling down your face. He sighed deeply before he finally hugged you back, a smile on his face as he looked at you. "I...I'm sorry. I should have told you, and I should have made sure you were alright before me and Drole left, and-" you kissed him, causing him to freeze up and stop talking. "I'm not mad, Gloxinia, I just missed you." you reassured him. He smiled softly, before floating down and resting right in between your breasts, causing your face to redden as you sat down and relaxed. "So, where exactly are we?" you questioned, before watching as a smile graced his features. "Ore Tree, Orudora. Drole and I made it shortly after the Fighting Festival ended." he explained, before he yawned. "Your chest is still so comfy." he remarked, causing you to look down at him as your face got even redder. "I see that you've grown your hair out, too." he hummed, floating up to your shoulder and sitting there. He leaned against your neck, relishing the feeling of your soft skin as he relaxed. After a while, he spoke. "I wanted to stay with you. Did you know that?" He asked quietly, looking up at you. You reached for him and picked him up, holding him in your palm. "I always sorta knew. I know you wouldn't leave me without a reason, but I was never angry with you in the first place. If anything, I was worried." You replied, causing his eyes to widen slightly. "I was worried that you were killed by the demons. When you left, that was the last I saw of you." You whispered, tears rolling down your cheeks as Gloxinia hugged your cheek. You felt him press his lips against your cheek as he kissed you, trying to comfort you. You stayed there holding him like your life depended on it, with him comforting you and reassuring you that he wasn't going anywhere any time soon.
