Hey guys, this was a request from @tillergang13130. Sorry it took so long but I rewrote it a lot of times and this was the best prompt I had out of the ones I thought of. I've decided to do a Q&A once I hit 50 chapters in this book, and will answer 20 questions from you guys. Anyways, have a wonderful New Year and hope you enjoy!
~Flashback~
You watched with wide eyes as your oldest brother, Meliodas, used his darkness to fend off goddess after goddess, cutting some clean in half, while he cut the wings of others, and slit the throats of even more. You had always been a peaceful and pacifistic person, not liking war in the slightest, let alone killing and brutality to this degree. As the leader of the Ten Commandments, and the oldest child of the Demon King, your brother was both highly respected, highly admired, and highly feared by even the other Commandments. You were cowering behind him as he butchered countless goddess clan people, making sure they were dead. You had your eyes shut tightly as your small body shook violently where you were curled up in a ball. Eventually, more demons came, and killed countless goddesses before the white winged soldiers finally retreated, and Monspeet found you hiding behind a tree. When you were returned to your brother, you ran to him, your arms open wide and tears rolling down your face. You were covered in cuts and bruises from one of the soldiers who tried to kill you without using 'Arc' to do so, deciding to use a sword to finish you off. You wrapped your arms around your brother's waist, causing his ink black gaze to flicker down to you. The scowl on his face deepened when he took notice of the cuts you had all over you. They were deep, which concerned him very much, considering the fact that you were only five. He picked you up and held you close, healing you using his darkness, so that you could move without crying even more. You were about to apologize for causing this whole situation, but you didn't get the chance, as the other Commandments asked him what their orders were. Meliodas sent them back to report to the Demon King, telling them to report that he was making sure you were alright and safe from harm. They all nodded and flew off, leaving you and your brother alone. You were the only one he was even remotely gentle with when it came to speaking or doing anything really, considering that you were so young, and you cried whenever someone yelled at you. Although, he was still quite harsh when he spoke to you, not that he meant to be that way. "I'm sorry for causing you and the others so much trouble." you said, sniffling softly as you tried to stop crying. The blonde sighed before kneeling in front of you and putting a hand on top of your head. "It's alright, (Y/N), just please for the love of the Demon King, stop crying." he said, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Now then, let's get back to the castle, shall we?" he asked, a look of mild annoyance on his face as you nodded, holding onto him as he picked you up and flew back to the Demon King's Castle.
~Flashback End~
Meliodas sighed heavily as he thought of the fear your eyes held when you were sealed away by him before he had to go fight the Demon King and Supreme Deity. You had been trying to beg him not to go, not to face your father, but he had to, to protect Elizabeth, and to make sure that you stayed alive and out of the Coffin of Eternal Darkness. Even after the defeat of Hendrickson, the threat of the Ten Commandments now hung over the Sins' heads not even a week later. Meliodas knew that Estarossa and Zeldris would be searching for you, but they knew not where to go to find you. He had had enough thinking, and finally decided to find you, knowing exactly where to look: Lake Salisbury, the place he sealed you away three thousand long years ago.
You opened your eyes and weakly sat up, covering your ears as you started to have a headache. The last thing you remembered was when your brother sealed you away, before going to help someone, a woman, you thought, fight your father and the Supreme Deity. You looked around, trying to remember if you had ever been to the place you were in. You finally came to the conclusion that you had never been in this place, and got up slowly for the sake of not being dizzy when you stood up completely. You heard voices downstairs and pressed your ear to the floor to listen.
