The ball

The theme this year for the ball was space.
Everyone was shopping frantically to get the best dresses .
I had already brought mine yesterday after setting up the hall I went with Sylvia and Pansy .
Theodore sent me a letter formally inviting me to go to the ball with him.
But after what happened with Mattheo I wasn't sure?
I knew me and Mattheo would never be together nor would he ask me to go to the ball and I wasn't sure if I wanted him to.

I don't even know if I liked him or hated him .
But it just felt wrong to go with Theodore and lead him on? Then again he said to go as friends plus Mattheo and I aren't together or even really like each other? Do we?
I went down to the common room where everyone was sat including Tabitha and Mattheo.
She was sat on his lap. God I hate her.
I went and sat next to Pansy.
"Hey" I spoke softly as I sit next to her.
"Hey we didn't sit with her she just came over-" Pansy tried to explain why Tabitha was sat near them .
"It's fine I know you don't like her" I say smiling .

"What time should I get you to go to the ball Tabby?" Mattheo asked looking at the girl .
There going together? Of course they are .
"7 make sure you look nice" she winked as she played with his hair.
I felt this pain inside me but not physical pain I felt like someone just popped my heart like a balloon.

"I'll be back hold on" I say as I make my way to My dorm.
I bump into Theodore.
"Shit sorry" I sigh as I look up at the boy.
"It's my fault Y/n I wasn't watching where I was going" he confesses.
I nod and open my dorm door.
"About going with you to the ball theo"
He turns and looks at me.
"Pick me up at 7:10!" I smile at him.
He smiles back great fully.
"See you then" I watch him walk down to the common room.

7:10pm .

Theodore knocks on my door .
"Hey" I smile at him , he looked good like really good!
He was wearing a suit with a little bracelet with a star and moon on it fitting the space theme.
"You look amazing" his eyes were in awe as he looked at me .
I actually felt good .
I hadn't felt that for a long time properly.
"You don't look to bad yourself mr Nott" I smirk and Bow holding my dress .

He lets out a laugh and takes my hand and we walk down to the hall where everyone was waiting.
I start to walk down the stairs with Theo and I see Mattheo and Tabitha at the bottom.
Mattheo is staring at me as I reach the bottom.
"Wow Y/n you look amazing I'm jealous!" Pansy ran her hands down my dress taking in its full Beauty.
"Thank you Pans you look lovely too if Theodore didn't ask me to the ball I would've asked you" I smiled at the girl .
She laughs and shakes her head at me.

MATTHEO RIDDLE POV-

Tabitha looked nice in her dress but everyone kinda looked the same .
So I wasn't really amazed by anyone's dresses that is intill I saw Y/n walking down the steps towards me. She was beautiful.
She was holding hands with Theodore? Why did she come with him?
I tired to convince myself that I didn't care that she came with him but something inside was telling me otherwise .
It hurt seeing her smile with Theodore, holding his hand watching her look at him I wish it didn't but it did.

I hated it I hated how I felt vulnerable around Y/n , that I didn't hate her as much as I thought I did.
"You all look nice" I say as I walk over to our group.
"Thank you Mattheo" Y/n smiles at me awkwardly.
"Thanks Riddle now lets go dance!" Pansy grabs Sylvia.
I felt Tabitha's grip tighten on my arm when I complimented Y/n.

3rd PoV

They all made there way into the hall .
Robin & Fred were already dancing having a amazing time .
Luna & Nova were getting drinks (alcoholic) drinks that is.
Sylvia & Pansy went together as both of them had no date.
They both were already dancing.
Draco & Blaise went together as a date they were sat in a booth kissing.
Mattheo & Tabitha has just walked in .
And last but not least Theodore and Y/n .
