"Hey" Y/n whispers as she comes round the corner of a book case in the library .
"Hey what you doing here?" Mattheo closes his book quickly as Y/n sits down across from him at the table.
"I had astrology, they said I could do research in the library so here I am" Y/n sets down her bag ,taking out her books and pens.
Mattheo looked on edge like he was hiding something.
"What's wrong?" Y/n picks up on the vibe.
"Nothing's wrong? so what ya learning about in astrology?" He changed the subject very quickly.

"Theo what's wrong? You're acting strange?" Y/n looks at the book he's trying to hide with his hand , only half the over is exposed.
He covers it more when he sees her eyes on the book.
"Dark arts- why have you got a dark arts book?" Y/n saw half the cover and read it out loud .
"It doesn't matter! Just leave it!" Mattheo shouts getting other people's attention he quietens down and then stuffs the book into his bag leaning back in his chair looking at Y/n

Y/N CARTER POV.
He was acting so strange?
I saw half the cover of the book he was hiding , I could just see the words Dark arts in small writing on the side .
"Dark arts- why have you got a dark arts book?" I say finally meeting his eyes.
He looked annoyed, almost like I was a inconvenience for him .
"It doesn't matter! Just leave it!" Mattheo raises his voice at me and I scowl at him .
He puts the book away in his bag and turns to me .

He turns to me like I was just going to be ok with him being a ass and shouting at me.
Ha Like hell!
"Your a real ass you know" I look down at my book and start to do my work.
"What just because I was reading a book? Your really mad right now?" I ignore him and continue writing notes.
"Y/n!" He shout whispers but I still ignore him , he huffs and leans back crossing his arms.
"It's the fact your clearly hiding something!" I say without looking up.
"What so I'm not aloud some privacy? Or a secret? I bet you have loads of secrets that you haven't told me!" He leans forward putting his hands on the table.

"Yeah well it's clearly more then just a secret because your acting so fucking hostile! And I don't have a any secrets! Also don't raise your voice at me just because I was worried about you!" I forcefully say but I don't raise my voice in anyway I'm just very direct.
"Ok I'm sorry for being rude to you but honestly I don't see why I should have to tell you anything?!" This time I do look up at the boy and he genuinely looks confused.
"Because when you care about someone you should tell them if your worried about something! I'm your- I'm your girlfriend for god sake , I just feel like the relationship is one sided! You know everything about me and even my parents! Stuff I didn't even know about them you know but I barely know anything about you!" I sigh closing my book.

"I don't have to tell you anything just because your my girlfriend? doesn't mean I have to spill my guts to you? Im not like that plus my father told me about your parents so I didn't just happen to know it" he confesses coldly.
I just sit there looking at him trying to see why he wouldn't open up about what he was reading?
It made me think that it was something important of something to do with his Father.
"You might think that way but I don't I'm not telling you to spill your guts I asked you if your ok and what your reading and you shut me down rudely!" I try to make him see that he was acting off but he wouldn't accept it.

"Whatever I've got to go and meet Draco see you later" Mattheo gets up and grabs his bag saluting me as he walks off.
God he's so fucking immature can't he just be a adult for once.
I asked him if he was ok and he lied saying he was fine if that isn't werid considering that we've slept together and we are in a relationship then I don't know what is!
He also tells me nothing the only thing I know is why he hates Kai and what he's doing with the cabinet and I pretty much found out about the cabinet myself not from him.

2 lessons later .

I walk into the commons to see Robin, Nova and Theodore.
"Hey guys" I sit down with a huff.
"That was a big huff Y/n what's wrong?" Robin puts her arm round me.
"Nothing I'm just exhausted" I lean my head on her shoulder.
"Well you better get a good night sleep because it's Halloween tomorrow!" Nova claps as she jumps up .
"Already? God time flys" It feels like just yesterday that I was here on the train planning on killing Mattheo.
