Meeting

Mattheo Riddle PoV

I knew Y/n was going to try and fuck me over somehow , so I had to be carful .
I had to make sure no one knew what I was up to or where I was going.
I was always clever with things like this that's why my father set me the task to kill Dumbledore and fix the cabinet so my fathers death eaters could come to hogwarts.

It's been 2 weeks since  Y/n started her so called "project" with the golden trio .
She hasn't talked to me at all she's acting like nothing happened between us.
I tried to follow her but turns out she was just going out to smoke .
She said she didn't smoke but , She's had a stressful journey at hogwarts so I'm not surprised.
I walk down the dark hallway towards the room of requirement where the cabinet was.
It was late at night .
I always switch the times when I go to the room so no one can follow me easily.

If there isn't a pattern or a routine for people to follow they've pretty much got nothing .
I have been working on the cabinet for a few weeks at least 4 weeks I'd say now but I've been a bit distracted as someone did try and kill me multiple times and that someone was Y/n.
Plus the fact that I slightly care for her but only slightly!

I had a meeting with my father today he had something important to share with me.
I was hoping it wasn't the mark .
But deep down I knew one day I would have to get it and it would probably be sooner then later .

A few hours later ...

I was now on my way to the meeting , I had to escape school grounds first which wasn't hard as I had done it many times .
Dumbledore has made it harder now though as he has only recently reinforced the protection charm on the school grounds now not letting anyone apparate in or out of Hogwarts.
That's the whole reason I've been doing this whole cabinet thing .

Once I'm off school grounds I apparate to Malfoy Mannor .
Where my father told me to meet him .
I walk in and see him sat alone
At the long table I was kinda shitting it now .
"Hello My Son" he speaks as he pets Nagini.
"Hello father" I sit across from him staying silent.
"Do you know why your here?" He asked as he whispered to Nagini to go feed.
"No I don't father" I made sure to always be polite to him as I had learnt it keeps me safer.
"Tabitha came to see me she told me about a girl!" He suddenly shouts hitting his fist on the table.

"Who goes by the name Y/n Carter" the way he says her name makes me Cringe.
If he tries to even touch one hair on her head I would kill him .
"What has she told you-" I was cut off by my father.
"Enough! To be disgusted!" He is now stalking his way towards me .
He's behind my chair with his hands on my shoulders.
"Y/n Carter and Her family betrayed us!" I was confused by what he said .
"How? I thought-" I was yet again cut off I should've just let him explain further before saying anything.

"Her mudblood mother was the only death eater who was not a pureblood or half blood! She was loyal to me for years even when she married that worthless muggle" he snakes around the table again walking back to his seat.
I look at him very confused surely that can't be true? Surely Y/n's mother wasn't a death eater!

"She was loyal so loyal in fact that I let her blood status slide along with her muggle companion . She was so loyal she would do anything for me she killed her own kind for me she even helped find your traitorous mother!
she broke up so many families in the way i broke hers!!"
There was a pause almost like he was trying not to get wound up.
My mother wasn't a nice woman I don't remember much about her .
But I know she wasn't that different from my father except for the fact she was Muggle-Born and didn't tell my father .

She nearly killed me when I was just 6 years old.
My father had found out that she lied about her blood status and that she was seeing another man who happened to be on Dumbledore's side.
The only way she thought she would get out alive is if she used me as Leveridge but doing so she almost killed me.
