8: Watering a flower

Heeseung Pov

I turn around to the voice calling me and I see Taki trying to catch up. I smile at him and lay my arm around his shoulder.
"I'll take a shower quickly"
Taki smiles back at me and continues walking with me.
"Oh okay. Can you help me with the vocals later? That would be so great Hyung."
We walk towards the washing room.
"Yeah of course.. Just come to me when you're ready."

I go to take a shower and the cold water on my skin helps me relaxing. I love taking cold showers because my muscles feel more fresh afterwards. I can now let my thoughts go and think about everything in peace.
"Sunoo didn't seem mad though. So we're okay right? We can still talk though."
I put shampoo in my hair and wash it out again.
After a few minutes of losing my mind because of my thoughts I step out of the shower to shave my slightly showing beard. I look at myself in the mirror. I smile a few times to figure out how I look the most attractive and I leave with the fixed smile after putting on clothes.
I bump right into Sunoo, who was on his way to the balcony where some other trainees are hanging around. I apologize quickly and walk next to him.
"So, how far did you come with the lyrics? Did you memorize I told Taki I'm going to help him later, do you wanna join? I mean we have to make a great performance."
I see Sunoo nodding and I smile at him. Maybe I was too harsh before?

We head to the others and I sit next to K, meanwhile Sunoo is sitting on the ground. Everyone is talking about girls, and Jay talks about some interesting stories from our trainee years.
"Yeah a lot of savage things were going on"
Everyone told us about the experience, but I noticed how Sunoo stayed silent. Jake seems to noticed that too, he asks the question I was too shy to ask.
"Sunoo-shi, what about you? Tell us!"
I get what he's doing there. He's trying to get Sunoo to talk about Sunghoon. I'd prefer to walk away but since this is a question about girls and love in general, I'm way too curious to just ignore.
Sunoo stays silent for a few seconds, then he opens his mouth.

3rd Person Pov

"Well I.. never really had girlfriend. Nothing serious."
Everyone graons because of the boring answer, since it gave little to no information.
"So you never had Sex? Or made out?"
Sunoo shakes his head after Geonu asked.
Everyone starts whispering and Sunoo looks around.
"What? What is it?"
Jungwon cleares his throat.
"You know about the rumors that you and Taeyong showered together that one day?"
Sunoo shrugged.
"We did. And?"
Suddenly everythingn is silent, until K speaks up to Sunoo directly.
"You sucked his dick, didn't you?"
Sunoo is so shocked that he can't answer in a few seconds.
The rest of the guys take that as a yes and they start whistling, laughing and making jokes.
Sunoo stands up and shakes his hands.
"Wait no! No I didn't we are just reall close friends and shared a shower because the other cabins were busy already!"
Sunghoon laughs at him.
"Yeah waiting three minutes is too boring when you can suck a dick right?"
Everyone else except Heeseung and Jungwon are laughing and agree with him.
Sunoo is so frustrated, shaking his head.
"I swear it's just rumors! We didn't even touch each other."
The jokes are just way too amusing for the trainees, so no one seems to really believe Sunoo. Luckily they start talking about K again, so Sunoo has his peace. As everyone talks, Sunoo gets up and goes inside again. He searches for Taki and helps him with the Fake Love vocals. Heeseung joins them half an hour later and Taki really seems to get better. Since he's still very young he gets tired and leaves to eat something.

Heeseung and Sunoo are alone now, still practicing.
After a few minutes Sunoo grabs his bottle of water and drinks. Heeseung gets a bit closer and looks at Sunoo through the mirror.
"Is it true though?"
Sunoo sighs annoyed and looks at him too.
"What?!"
"You know what."
Sunoo sighs once more and puts the bottle away.
"Of course not. But they don't believe me anyway, so it's not important anymore.."
He starts dancing while singing quietly, hoping that Heeseung will just leave him alone with that topic. But Heeseung is curious now again....
"And I general? You never had a girlfriend? What about a boyfriend then?"
Sunoo stops moving. He has bad experience taking about this topic and he doesn't want to get treated differently just because he's not dating girls.
"What do you think about.. when boys have boyfriends?"
Heeseung shrugs.
"Not my cup of tea but it's not disgusting to me."
"Wow that rhymes...tea..me.."
Heeseung thinks to himself.
Sunoo didn't even realize the rhyme and thinks about his words. He's unsure if he can tell Heeseung or not. He decides to trust him and continues dancing with smaller moves meanwhile.
"Did have a boyfriend. But I'm single now"
Heeseung nods, joining the choreography.
