17: Could've been us

3rd Person Pov

Sunoo gets up too, even though he feels his legs shaking a little bit. The muscle pain from the training, the amount of stress and now even a kind of 'heartbreak' is just too much for his body.
Luckily this is Sunoos speciality.
He has those problems a lot, so it's not a big deal to overplay it one more time.
He follows Heeseung back to training, but he's not able to concentrate on other aspects of his life right now.
He walks towards the mirror but stands still with a lot of distance to Heeseung and even the other members. He's more at the back right now and feels kinda safe with that too.
The seventeen years old boy starts to feel more and more worthless. He just watches the others from the side and stands still.

Heeseung Pov

I walk back into practice with a very bad feeling. I don't want to hurt him but it's just so complicated. I just wanted a kiss, why do we have to be more now? I try to ignore the voice inside of my head that's telling me: "You want that too you idiot."
We can just be good friends, I see no problem with that. Maybe we don't even debut together, so I don't need to worry about those things. Yeah that's right I didn't say anything wrong.
I look at Sunoo who's been standing still for a while now.
I bet it's a great idea to motivate him a little bit. I should show him that I still like him. Maybe it's the best thing to let it just be, we'll see what happens. And who cares about details in that?

I turn to face him completely.
"Sunoo! Come on, move and participate!"
I thought I said it in a motivating way but the gaze of him and the other members give me the feeling I shouted more aggressively than I actually wanted.
I look back into the mirror and I seem a little bit intimidating.
Sunoo walks next to us with a scared look on his face and tries to dance with us. After a few tries, I get pissed.
I don't know why but nothing is working out as planned.
It's not his fault, but in this moment I don't even realize.
"Pull yourself together! Only three days left, we should really try harder!"
All of them nodd and it even worked, it looks so much better when we tried it again. I'm kinda satisfied, but there's still room for improvement.
"We should dance to the whole choreography and try singing. I know we didn't do both of it at the same time yet but we should really start to get prepared."
I count and we start to go through the whole dance while singing.
To be honest I'm shocked about the vocals.
We're really not stable as a team and it shows.
When we finish the song I stand in front of them.
Sunghoon takes a few breathes.
"Hyung we shouldn't sing today anymore. Sunoo is really exhausted and Ta-ki trained a lot too. Even I don't think it's a good idea to continue like this."
I sigh loudly and look at everyone of them.
I'm becoming even more worried but I nod. At least he's being honest.
"Okay. Then we focus on the dancing even more. Get in position"
We train over and over again and the hours are getting late.
Sunoo barely said anything over this time but bends over totally out of breath.
Ta-ki walks over to him to give him comforting cuddles but Sunoo pushes him away softly and sits down on the ground.
I look at them, giving him a few moments to breathe better again and then clap my hands once.
"Come on guys, let's continue!"
We all get in position again except Sunoo who just won't get up. I look at him a little bit annoyed because he rested a lot today already.
"Sunoo, only a little bit more okay?"
He gets up and seems exhausted. I feel kinda bad but something is also telling me that it'll help him if push him far enough.
We dance two more times until he's sitting on the ground again.
I'm biting my lip and he crawls across the floor until he reaches the mirror, then he leans on it.
I'm so ambitious about this test that I don't even realize he really can't breathe well.
I'm the leader of this team and it's my job to take care of the others too, but now I'm doing a big mistake.

"Sunoo! Get up. You can rest in an hour."
I get no response so I walk over to him.
I pull him up, giving him a few cuddles because I really don't mean to hurt him.
He whines and tries to sit down again but I give him a friendly spank on his butt cheek and position him on his spot to dance.
I smile at all of the fake lovers and count so we can dance to the chorus again.
The first two seconds are fine but then I just here a bump.
I look around just to find Sunoo on the ground again but this time he's lying.
I want to tell him to get up again but then I see his eyes are closed.
The realization hit me and I can barely move.
I can't even speak so it's just a silent whisper that comes out of my mouth.
"Sunoo?"
The others are shocked as well.
Sunghoon only takes a few seconds.
When he wants to walk over to check on him, K Hyung rushes into the room.
