10: taste of cherry shot lips

3rd Person Pov

Sunoo sighs, realizing that no one will hug him now. He leaves the balcony and as he walks inside again, he makes a stop at the kitchen to get some snacks. The Sunshine hums while enjoying a Chocolate bar.
"I know I shouldn't eat so much.. But it's just so delicious. It's so mean that snacks taste that good when they're unhealthy."

Carefully he throws away the trash and as he wants to leave the room, he bumps into someone, facing a muscular chest.
Slowly he dares to look up, having a perfect view on K.
"Oh, I'm sorry Hyung. I didn't see you coming.."
Sunoo tries to walk away, but K grabs his arm and turns him around so that he has to face him.
"You shouldn't have told everyone about my favors in the shower. I hope you regret that you did that... You don't have the right to expose me just because I'm joking around. Let's make up and everything is fine, yeah?"
Sunoo blinks a few times, licking his lips.
"Sounds alright.. I'm sorry.. Could you please.."
He looks at K's hand on his arm, trying to tell him to let go.
K takes his hand away and looks at him closely.
"Great.." K's voice sounds deep and kind of dangerous, so Sunoo doesn't wait any longer to get away.
"Of course it's okay.. It's not like you've made this place like hell for me the past few weeks.. There are more good than bad moments but it hurts. I didn't ask to be gay"
He quickly walks back to the practice room and after just a few seconds he realizes that the others seem slightly pissed.
Running the last few meters, Sunoo hurrys up to get in the formation that the others trained without him.
"Sorry for taking so long"
Sunghoon just nods and Heeseung doesn't even look at Sunoo. He just starts counting and Sunoo needs a little bit to get what part they're dancing.

Finishing the Choreography, Heeseung suddenly tells everyone to sing. Ta-ki is the only one who seems to have many troubles. Sunoo's voice cracks a few times too, but not too bad.
Heeseung takes a deep breath and looks at his team with worried eyes.
"Guys the directors will take a look at us today and the other units. I don't feel like we're ready and good enough yet..I don't mean to bring you down but Fake Love is all about vocals and we need to make a great performance to get the test-benefit.
We don't wanna get eliminated, do we? Of course we don't. I know we're working hard and I think each one of us is doing great but not...quite good enough. Do you know what I mean?"
The mood gets pretty heavy. They all know what Heeseung means but it still hurts to speak it out loud. They all nod a little bit, but it takes a bit for Sunghoon to respond.
"Yes, you're right. We need to be the best and we have to do as great as possible. I think we can make it if we all give our absolute best. I know we can do it if we try hard enough."

Sunoo nods, but can't take his eyes off of Heeseung.
Even when Sunghoon tries to talk to Sunoo, he won't react.
"Heeseung.. Hee...Seung.. he's so good.. he can talk so well.."
"Sunoo what do you think?"
"He's good at everything.. and he's so attractive too ..a real ace"
"Hey.. Sunoo?"
"I want him to hug me again.. Maybe I should fake an asthma?"
"Sunoo!!"
"I wanna lean on him.. So comfortable.. and his big hands running through my hair..a great friend to cuddle with.. his nice voice.."
"YAH! SUNOO!"
Sunoo shakes his head coming back to reality. He looks at Sunghoon who just screamed at him.
"Sorry Hyung.. I agree with you"
Heeseung pulls Sunoo up and away from the other two.
Sunoo just follows him, feeling sorry for staring at him like that.

Heeseung whispers in his ear..
"I don't know what's wrong with you today and if you need to talk you can always rely on me. But you need to stop drifting in your own world.. You need to concentrate."
Sunoo gets goosebumps because of his voice. It sounds so calming and strict at the same time..
"Focus on the training or do I have to scold you? Pull yourself together Sunoo"
Heeseung moves his hand in circles over Sunoo's back, lets it run briefly over his bottom and then lets go.
He returns to the others as if nothing happened and tells them to get up to keep training.
Sunoo needs a few seconds to move his legs and walk behind him.
He wonders why his heart got so excited and even stumbles because of that.
"What the.. Heeseung?"

They continue with their training until the directors come.
The mid-evaluation didn't go well ...
The I need U team is kinda in trouble too, but the DNA unit did well and the others are worried because the thought of being eliminated could be reality soon.
Gladly the I-Landers comfort each other after the depressing results and are able to spend some nice moments with their friends.

These are some of the moments when they realize how nice it is to have each other. The moment they realize even this show has an end and the moment to get sentimental. They meet up in the kitchen to eat together and share some of their childhood and teen stories.
"I bet Jay was one of the guys in school to make out with girls in the bathroom"
Geonu laughs and takes a bite of the pizza.
"No he's the popular guy that never gets a girlfriend. Everyone crushes on him but in the end it never works out. Such a shame"
Heeseung explains Jay's love life and wraps his arm around his shoulder.
Jungwon giggles and starts to whisper with Sunoo, they gossip and look at the others a little bit too obvious..
Hanbin comes in dancing out of the blue with a big smile on his face.
"Bam bam bam bam, dun dun dun dun, EGO EGO EGO!"
K smiles brightly, he just can't resist adoring his hyung.
Hanbin is the one to always brighten the mood and make the others laugh. It's such a beautiful way to connect all rivals and to become a team.

As the hours are getting late, the camera got turned off and the I-Landers started to chill on the couches.
Somehow Heeseung and Jay managed to smuggle in alcohol and well.. after the younger trainees went to bed they started to drink it.

Jake, Geonu and Sunghoon are the only ones left with Heeseung and Sunoo.
The 02z had a bit...or a bit more and leave the both of them alone because they discovered something on the kitchen table.
A very interesting spider, that they try to feed with all kinds of stuff. Just three teenage boys amusing themselves with the most random stuff ever... Somehow cute.

The building gets filled with laughter and Sunoo and Heeseung are sitting on the couch with some drinks left.
Heeseung turns to Sunoo.
"Have...have you even had something yet?"
Sunoo smiles softly at him and looks away again.
"I had two sour cherry shots. I don't really like the other things"
Heeseung laughs at him and takes a sip from the Vodka bottle standing on the ground infront of them.
"I knew that you wouldn't take any of the hard stuff"
He comes closer to Sunoo and grins.
"Hey! I'm just scared that my parents would ever find out about this. I'd be so dead.."
Heeseung takes another sip before he laughs and shakes his head.
"I think I don't even know how those shots taste. But I'm honest I'm not even that drunk...."
Sunoo looks at him, kind of pouting.
"Isn't that something only drunk people would say?"
The 'not Drunk' guy moves even closer and takes a look at Sunoo.
"Are there any shots left? Now I want to try"
Sunoo looks around and slightly shakes his head.
"I think we drank them all.."

Heeseung sighs kinda disappointed.
"But I wanted to taste! ... Then you'll have to share with me."
Sunoo gives him a confused look, tilting his head to one side.
"Share.. Share what? How?"
Heeseung smiles, getting even closer than before, putting his hand on Sunoos waist.
"The.. Taste of course. Let me just.."
Sunoo blinks a few times, wondering what his plan is about..

Heeseung puts his other hand on Sunoos cheek.
After checking his eyes for a second, he combines their lips.

Laughter come from across the halls. But neither Heeseung, nor Sunoo actually perceive it.
