Third Person POV

Rolling over, he got up and ready a bit before nine. Nick was nervous. He dressed up in a suit and put his hair up, the way Matthew always liked it. Liz already left for work. She had been working more shifts recently. The brown haired boy admired himself in the mirror, almost impressed by how well he could fake his happiness. Most the time he felt sick. Just getting out of bed was becoming difficult lately.

Taking his black suitcase in hand, the nurse took off.

Matthew had to work around the ten am time frame. Connor wanted to know where he was going to. "Babe, I have to pick up some cough syrup. I'll be back in a bit." He lied easily to his boyfriend. Connor sighed, "be back soon? It's cold without you." He pouted, causing Matthew to chuckle at his childish boyfriend.

Crown's Cafe was on a ritzy side of town. Several vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free restaurants surrounded the nearby area. Matthew swirled a vegan latte with his straw as he waited for the mystery person to meet him at the cafe. The voice on the phone was deep, the person would have had to use a voice changer to make it that deep.

The ex-con was a bit taken off guard when he saw the short blonde judge step into the cafe. Nodding as she passed him to order a black coffee. Liz smiled at Matthew smugly, taking her nonvegan drink over to the booth and sitting across from him. "Hello, love." She beamed.

He chuckled harshly, "I'm not your 'love', what do you want?" Matthew's hair was being uncooperative so he threw a black beanie on before meeting with Liz. His 'I Would Top You So Hard' shirt made Liz cringe, remenbering that Nick use to bottom for the guy. "I want you to stay away from my boyfriend. I'm not asking, I'm warning. You will keep your distance. Or I will find another reason to throw your faggot ass back in prison!"

"Excuse me!? You dated my sister, how do you have room to call me a faggot? And secondly, you're not tough. You sound like a jealous slut." Matthew responded coolly, sipping his latte. Clenching her fists under the table, Liz replied, "Stay away from him. Or I will personally make sure you spend the rest of your life rotting in prison, being f*d by random convicts, and wishing you could be oh so 'lucky-lucky!'" she hissed at the gaybie across the table.

Matthew slammed his fist down on the table, "shut up! You're such a hypocrite!"

"Temper. Temper." she tsked, "Isn't that what ruined your relationship with my boyfriend? Or maybe it's the fact that you beat and raped him, and lied to everyone about it. You're a liar Matthew Lush, stay away from my baby."

"You're a b*tch, you know that? I have a boyfriend anyways. So this conversation was nearly, pointless. You just love drama, don't you?"

   "Shut up. Shut up, Lush!"

"Typical white girl. You started something you can't finish... Let me help you, this convo is over. Bye, slut." Matthew got up, shaking his hips as he exited the cafe. Liz let out a loud growl, accidentally gripping her foam cup so hard it broke in her hand, causing coffee to burn her slightly, "Ugh!"

"Are you gonna pay for that?" one of the employees questioned, signaling the latte Matthew left behind.

  ***

York's parents stood before the judge, dressed in black. "Nick you will be fined for twenty thousand dollars, court dismissed." The brown haired boy kept his head down as he speed walked down the hall and back to his car. He thought York was worth so much more than that, but that's the highest the judge would make the cost of his "wrongful death".

Nick wanted Matthew back. Lately Liz was scaring him. He was more attracted to men too, but he kept that piece of information to himself.

It hurt him to know how heartless York's parents really were. Most kids hate their parents, Nick never thought his parents were physically abusive, not until he met them.

His father seemed like he couldn't comprehend what was happening around him, while his mother seemed too alert, paranoid almost. It sickened him.

As he puller into his drive way he heard his default ringtone go off. Picking up his phone carelessly, thinking it was Liz he said, "hey babe."

"Oh, hi babe!" The high voice on the other end replied. "I have missed you so, did you miss me?" Matthew yawned waiting for his response.

"Ma-Mathew? You're out of prison? Where are you? What have you been doing? A-are you okay?" He stuttered back, Matthew laughed at his nervousness, finding Nick's voice as adorable as ever. "I've been out for a while, cutie. Want to meet up somewhere?" Nick was taken off guard. He wanted to say yes, but he wanted to say no. He fought so long to get away and now he was going to risk it all to give his ex a second chance. Not only that but he has a girlfriend at the moment.

Nick contemplated before giving Matthew an answer that could break or fix his dull life.

A/N hey guys! How do you feel about Lushlaws coming together? Matthew being released from prison? Connor? Liz? Do you guys want a character ask? I need to know.
