I spun around and saw the face I'd dreamt about that night. He smiled at me warmly and gently bit his lip. Man, he was even cuter than I remembered. "Jupiter!" I exclaimed and started running toward him. He was only three or four cars away, but it seemed farther than than the drive to the hotel. When I finally reached him, he immediately wrapped his arms around my waist and picked me up. I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his hips.
"You're lucky I'm not dropping you after that," he joked. His throat vibrated against my cheek. For a second, I forgot we weren't dating. Good thing I remembered before I kissed him. That'd be awkward.

We hugged for a few seconds longer before he put me down and turned around awkwardly. I leaned over to see what he was looking at and saw a red-haired woman smiling at us. "Dovie, this is my mum," he said, slightly uncomfortable.
"Hi love," she waved. Aw, she's so cute. "I'm Katy Cavanagh-Jupe. You can call me Katy."
"So nice to meet you!" I smiled. "I'm Davina, you can call me Dovie if you want."
"Noah's told me all about you," she said almost teasing us. Noah cleared his throat, hinting for her to stop. "Sorry. Well have fun you two. Oh, and I can come pick him up when you're done, you don't have to drive back here again."
"Oh, are you sure?" I asked. "It's no trouble."
"Yes, of course," she insisted. "We'll probably drive around the Rodeo Drive area after anyway."
"Ok," I smiled. "Well it's great to meet you again."
     "You too sweetheart. Have fun."
"Bye Mum," Noah waved. We started walking back toward my car and he quickly slipped his arm around my waist.
"Well hello Ms. Depp," he said dramatically. "How was the drive?"
"Really nice actually," I answered. "This is such a nice area."
"Yeah, I love it," he agreed. We reached my car and separated to get into the opposite seats. "So were you able to think of a place to go?"
"Sort of," I answered as I turned on the car.
     "Sort of?" he repeated.
"Well yeah I did," I shrugged and started backing out. "but it's kind of a...unconventional first date location." It hit me after I said it that I called this a date. Shit.
"Ok," he laughed. "I'll trust you." Wow, he didn't even bring it up. I was sure he'd start teasing me.
"Also, you get aux," I told him. I pulled out of the parking lot and started heading back toward Beverly Hills. The place I wanted to go was around halfway between his hotel and my house.
"What should I play?" he asked as he connected his phone.
"Anything," I answered. "I like hearing everyone's different tastes in music."
     "Alright, just don't judge mine."
"I won't," I promised. Music is the only thing I won't judge. He started playing a song called At the River by Groove Armada. I don't think I'd ever heard it, but I liked it. We drove for around half an hour before we got to the area where the restaurant was.

"I could've sworn you were talking to Finn when I came over," Noah sighed.
"Finn wasn't even at the premiere," I laughed.
"Then who were you talking too?" he asked, joining in laughing.
"No clue. But we're here." I pulled into a parking spot outside the strip mall.
"Where are we going?" he asked skeptically.
"Right there," I pointed to the place in front of the car.
"Pizza?" he asked. "That's not a weird place to go."
"I know," I said. "We're not eating here."
     "Huh?" he asked confused.
"You'll see, come on." I got out of the car and walked into the pizza place and Noah followed. "What kind of pizza do you like?" I asked without turning around.
"Just plain is fine," he said. He seemed nervous.
"Don't worry I'm not gonna haze you or anything," I joked.
"I know but I'm scared," he laughed as I approached the counter
"Don't be. Hi, can I have a medium plain pie and two soft drinks?"
"Sure thing," the cashier said. She pressed a few buttons on the register and I paid. "It'll just be two minutes. The drink machine is over there."
"Thank you," I said. "Come on, let's get drinks." I always mix Sprite, fruit punch, and lemonade when I get a soft drink.
"Of course you're that kind of person," Noah laughed as I created my concoction.
"What's that mean?" I asked, pretending to be offended.
"I don't know, it just makes sense." I rolled my eyes and moved over to let him get his drink.
"Medium plain for Davina!" a voice called.
"Be right back," I told him with my hand on his shoulder. I then went to grab the box.
"Thanks," I smiled. By the time I turned around, Noah was walking toward me. "You ready?" he nodded.
     "Now where are we going?"
"Surprise," I teased him. He sighed and followed me back to the car. I put the pizza in the backseat before getting back in the front. "Ok," I said adjusting myself. "Sorry for keeping you in the dark, but this'll be more fun if you're surprised."
"Ok..." he said. "I'll try to trust you."
"It's nothing crazy," I laughed. "I just got something I wanna show you." I drove down the same road for 5 or 10 minutes until all the buildings disappeared and there were only trees on my right, and a cliff on my left.
"Wow, LA is insane," he gushed, admiring the mountains beneath the cliff.
     "Very," I agreed.
"I mean that cliff is beautiful," he sighed. "And so is the girl in front of it." I felt myself blush and I quickly turned to the left to hide it.
"What girl?" I played around. "Where?" I heard him scoff and I giggled to myself.
"You can't accept a compliment," he whispered and laughed.
"Sorry," I laughed back. A few feet later, I turned right and drove up a hill through the trees. About half a mile later, we reached our destination. "I've only ever come here with my sister," I said as I u buckled my seatbelt. "So you should feel special."
"Wow, honored," he said. I grabbed the pizza and we got out of the car. Noah looked around, confused.
"Come on," I said, gently grabbing his fingertips. He gripped onto my palm and I led him through the trees. "You might not find this as cool as I do, but I really wanted to show you."
"If you like it then I'll like it," he assured me. "Where is it?"
"Be patient," I told him. "And it's right...here," I said as we turned a corner. "Welcome to the hidden falls... Or that's what Lily-Rose and I call it." His eyes grew wide as he scanned the large waterfall.
"Wow," he said, a hint of laughter in his voice. "This is incredible."
"I know," I smiled. I was glad he was impressed or else this would be awkward. "I used to always come here for picnics when I was little, so that's what we're gonna do."
"Sounds like a plan," he nodded. "But first, come here." He pulled out his phone and opened the camera. I stepped closer to him and he wrapped his arm around me. We angled ourselves with the waterfall in the background and he took a picture. I leaned my head on his shoulder and he took another. "Beautiful," he said. "Ok, now let's eat."
