another month later

"so you're sure it's all going to be good here?" i asked tyler, josh, zack, and will. they all nodded.

"yes, yes, we got the kids. now go, find the perfect dress." tyler assured me once again. i smiled and kissed his cheek.

"we'll be back later. if you have any problems whatsoever-"

"(y/n). we will be fine. don't rush, if you need time to find the perfect dress then take time. i want you to be wearing something that you really love, not a dress that you're just okay with."

"okay, you're right." i said. i heard maddy honk her horn for the second time that day. i was taking a while. "i love you."

"i love you too. have fun." he replied.

i made my way to maddy's car and got in quickly. maddy was in the driver's seat and in the back was tatum, kelly, and debby. they were supposed to help me find the perfect dress.

"hey, ladies." i greeted them.

"hey! are you ready to find the perfect dress?" maddy asked me. i smiled.

"yep. a little nervous though." i admitted.

"nervous, why?"

"i just don't want to find a dress that tyler won't like." i said. i received a whole bunch of disapproving sighs.

"girl, i've seen the way that man looks at you. there's no way he won't like what you wear." tatum told me.

"yeah, you could wear a trash bag and he'd still think you looked flawless." debby agreed. i chuckled.

"i guess you guys are right. where are we to next?" i asked.

the first stop was a bridal shop downtown columbus. it was know to have high quality dresses so we decided we'd try there first.

when we got in, we were escorted to the back. there were hundreds of poofy white dresses that nearly blinded me. i barely knew where to start.

i went to the rack and searched through the dresses. i wasn't looking for anything big and poofy because that really wasn't me. most girls wanted to look like cinderella but i couldn't see myself enjoying wearing that.

i picked three dresses that seemed pretty enough but i really wouldn't know until i tried them. i headed to the dressing room and there were already dresses that maddy, debby, kelly, and tatum wanted me to try on. i told them i was trying them on so they could wait for me.

the first few dresses i tried were way too poofy. they looked like they were straight out of cinderella's fairy tale. although i knew i wouldn't like them, i decided to walk out in one of them just so they could see me in one.

when the four girls saw me, their eyes lit up. i gave them a small smile.

"how do i look?" i asked.

"you look amazing!" kelly told me.

"i like it." tatum added.

"flawless." debby chimed in.

"you look really good, (y/n)." maddy told me.

"you guys are so sweet. i'm actually not going to get this one because i don't really go for 'big and poofy' but given you guys picked this one, i decided to let you see me in it." i told the four girls. they all nodded in acknowledgment.

"we understand. we support whichever one you pick." debby assured me. i smiled and headed back to the dressing room.

i tried a few more dresses on from that store but nothing seemed like it was perfect for me. we decided to head to the next store given i was luckless at the one we were just in.

"don't worry," kelly told me, as we walked into the next bridal shop. "i'm sure you'll find something here."

we were once again escorted to the back where all the white dresses were. i was scrolling through the rack when i stopped abruptly.

"guys!" i called. the girls rushed towards me as i pulled out a dress that caught my eye. the girls immediately began to 'ooh' and 'wow' at it. i hadn't even tried it on but i knew already that i liked it so much.

"i think it's the one..but i have to try it on." i said. we all rushed to find the changing rooms. once we did, i went in and stripped myself down. i slid on the dress and looked in the mirror.

sorry if you guys don't like it aha-

it was stunning. i absolutely loved it. it wasn't poofy and it didn't reveal my cleavage to the world. i liked it so much and i had a feeling tyler would as well.

i walked out of the dressing room and found the four girls waiting for me. when they saw me, they gasped and clapped their hands to their mouths.

"w-what do you guys think?" i asked.

"oh my God you look so beautiful!" debby gushed. i blushed at her compliment.

"you look stunning, (y/n)." kelly told me.

"if i was tyler i would start balling just at the sight of you. you look so so pretty." tatum said.

"yeah, what she said." maddy agreed. "but what do you think of it?"

i looked at myself in the mirror one more time. i marveled at the sight of my figure in the beautiful, white, lacy dress. i knew i didn't have to look for dresses anymore.

i had already found the perfect dress.
