"finally!" tyler said excitedly, right after we got into our limo. everyone was heading to the venue so we could have the dinner.

"we're married!" i exclaimed. tyler immediately turned his head to kiss me passionately.

"i'll never get enough of that."

"hmm, kissing me or hearing the words 'we're married' come out of my mouth?"

"both."

i smiled as i took his hand. i was thankful i never really wanted a poofy dress in the first place, because that would have been such a pain to dance in and sit in in general.

"i can't wait to leave for our honeymoon tomorrow." i said. tyler smiled.

"i heard paris is beautiful around this time of year." he told me.

"and to think we get to spend three weeks there... it's so exciting."

"now we just gotta get through the dinner."

the limo stopped, signalling us that we made it to the dinner party. tyler got out and opened my door for me, taking my hand. we walked towards the front doors of the venue.

everything was beautiful. it was all decorated from top to bottom and the stage was set up as well. but for some reason, josh's drums were there. i didn't know why. it made me almost...queasy. what did they have planned?

as soon as we walked in, caroline and noah rushed to us. they were still wearing their wedding clothes. they were so adorable.

"congratulations mommy and daddy!" they told us. i swept up caroline and tyler swept up noah.

"thanks, kiddos." we thanked them. we started to walk around to say hello to everyone, while still carrying our beautiful children.

i said hello to some distant family members but immediately rushed to tori once i spotted her.

"congratulations, (y/n)! wow, you look so pretty." tori said, pulling me into a hug. it was a bit awkward given the little girl in my arms. "and so do you, miss caroline grace."

i looked at caroline and watched as her faced formed the hugest smile every. tori was the only one who called caroline by her first and middle name. and care liked it that way.

"thank you, aunt victoria jean." caroline replied. occasionally when tori called caroline, caroline grace, caroline called tori by her first and middle name as well.

i talked with tori a bit more before i decided to go find tyler. i found him talking to his grandpa. tyler was very close with his grandpa, and he had talked consistently about me meeting him.

tyler smiled when he noticed me.

"grandpa, this is my beautiful bride, (y/n)." tyler introduced us.

"it's so good to finally meet you. i've heard many, many, great things about you." i said. his grandpa smiled.

"you are beautiful, (y/n). thank you, for making my grandson happy." he said. i beamed as i shook his hand.

tyler and i finally made our way to jesse. i was forever thankful that there wasn't much awkwardness between the two of them anymore. they were civil, and that's all ever asked for.

we talked with jesse for a bit before tyler and i were told it was time for our first dance as husband and wife. my stomach twisted slightly, given i couldn't really dance. it was different when it was just the two of us..but our families were watching.

"it's okay. you know i got you. just follow my lead." tyler told me. i rested my arms on his shoulders and he rested his hands on my waist.

the song that played was no other than can't help falling in love.

"wise man say," tyler sang to me. i couldn't help smiling like a fool.

"only fools rush in." i sang with him. this caused him to smile back at me.

"i love when you sing, mrs. joseph. it brings me happiness."

"i could say the same. i love you so much."

"i love you more."

"no, tyler. i love you most. i would do anything for you. without you, i would be so lost."

tyler leaned in and kissed me softly. it was like it was just the two of us. like nobody was watching.

our dance ended and everyone clapped and cheered for us. we both blushed profusely. we decided to finally take a seat for once, considering dinner was soon to be served.

surely enough, dinner was served. i had a steak with potatoes, green beans, and stuffing. tyler ate something to do with fish. i didn't particularly like seafood so i didn't have what he did.

after dinner, we decided to have anyone who wanted to make a speech do so. the first to go was actually tori.

"hello, everyone. i'm tori and i've been (y/n)'s best friend since we were five." tori started. "there are no words to explain how estatic i am for these two. i remember the day that she told me about him. the way her eyes lit up with excitement..i had never seen her so happy to talk about someone in all of our years of friendship. so when she called me announcing her engagement, i was so happy for the two of them. congratulations, tyler and (y/n) and i wish you both the best of luck with your marriage."

everyone cheered for tori. i cheered the loudest, not realizing how much i had missed her. i looked a few seats down from me and i saw that the twins were also cheering super loud for their aunt.

after tori, zack did his speech. tyler had prepared himself for that but it actually was very heartfelt. he didn't bring up any embarassing memories but simply wished us luck with our marriage and thanked me for making it so that tyler could write about love and not only fear.

after all the speeches we were about to wrap everything up. i was still clueless as to why josh's drums were on the stage.

"tyler, why are josh's drums on the stage?" i asked, curiously. he smirked.

"oh, you'll see." he replied. i raised an eyebrow as he got up and walked to josh.

"what's daddy doing?" caroline asked me. i shrugged.

"i have no idea, princess." i replied.

"is he gonna sing?" noah asked.

"i really don't know, honey."

tyler walked up to the microphone as josh sat at his drums. i watched them curiously. what did they have planned?

"hello. before we wrap up this wedding, there was one more thing that i wanted to do. josh and i are going to perform a song that i wrote for my beautiful bride over there, (y/n)." tyler pointed to me. "this one, is called smithereens."

i stared in awe as the music started. i hadn't been expecting that at all. i couldn't believe tyler had written another song for me.

"you know, i've always been collected, calm, and chill." tyler sang. i looked over at the twins who stared at their father in awe. given concerts were to loud for their little ears, they had never before heard him perform live.

i started to cry as they performed the new song. it was just like when tyler performed tear in my heart for the first time. it was only six years later. so much had happened in the meantime.

"for you, i'd go write a slick song just to show you the world."

it was beautiful. the wedding, the dinner, the song, all of it. it was easily the best day of my entire life.

"for you, i would get beat to smithereens."
