two months later

"are we there yet?" caroline asked, for the millionth time. i looked at tyler who smiled to try to hide his annoyed expression as he drove.

"we'll be there soon. be patient, honey." i told her. she frowned.

"i don't know how to be patient. patient is boring." she pouted. i looked behind me and noah was just looking out the window minding his own business. as he usually did.

"what if..what if we played i spy?" i suggested. the twins' faces lit up like lightbulbs.

we played i spy for about fifteen minutes until we finally arrived at chuck e. cheese's. debby and josh had already beat us there which wasn't surprising. they had the tendency to be early.

the four of us met up with debby and josh at the entrance. the twins were practically bouncing with excitement. i hoped they enjoyed their party. tyler and i would be extremely busy planning the rest of the wedding for the next three months, so we wanted them to have an extremely fun time.

we went inside and found the table that was reserved for them. there was a cake, two party hats, and plates waiting for the twins. i thought the way it was all set up was adorable. so did the twins.

"wow!" caroline exclaimed. tyler smiled widely.

"cool!" noah added.

the twins agreed that they wanted to play for a while before they ate. we got them their play cards and josh and debby decided to get play cards as well, just for fun.

"five bucks says i'll get noticed by jessie fans at least once today." debby said. i giggled.

"i wouldn't doubt it. we're at a kids arcade and you did a show for kids." i replied.

"but the next show won't be." josh chimed in. "i wouldn't let any kids watch insatiable."

"nope, not letting the twins watch it. no offense, debs." tyler said. caroline scrunched her eyebrows.

"why can't we watch it?" she asked. tyler chuckled.

"i don't think you'd like it kiddo." he told her. i finished setting up the game cards and passed them around.

"it's aunt debby, of course we'd like it." noah said, quietly. i smiled at him and debby did as well. he was such a sweet little boy.

the kids went off to play there games and tyler sat down with me. we watched as debby and josh went to play a game. they were about to slide their card when a little girl and her mom stopped debby and asked for a picture.

"she called it." i announced.

"yeah, but if we were at hot topic, it'd be the same for josh and i probably." tyler replied.

"probably." i agreed.

"let's go play with the kids." he told me. i nodded as we got up and went to find caroline and noah.

i found noah by a mario kart game.

"mom, can you play mario kart with me?" noah asked me. i smiled.

"of course, honey." i replied.

i slid his card for both games. as i set it up, i wondered what caroline and tyler were playing.

tyler's pov

i found caroline standing by a basketball game pouting. i walked up to her and her face brightened when she saw me.

"hey, sunshine. what are you playing?" i asked her.

"i want to play basketball but im too short." she told me. "i already swiped the card."

i picked her up and set her on my shoulders. i gave her a ball.

"is that better?" i asked her, smiling.

"thank you, daddy!" she thanked me.

caroline threw the ball and it nearly made it in. i gave her another one and just kept passing her balls until the time ran out. she made a lot of hoops which made me feel a bit proud. she often took after me.

after we played the basketball game, we passed debby and josh. they were playing a dancing game which, was quite interesting to watch. especially since they choose a new kids on the block song.

"step by step!" josh sang. i felt myself start to laugh.

"ooh, baby!" debby sang. i looked at caroline who was laughing like a maniac. just then, (y/n) and noah stood with us to see what debby and josh were doing.

once they finished their dance, debby and josh turned around. they seemed shock to see us, but they simply bowed. absolutely epic.

"thank you, thank you. i give dance lessons weekly." josh joked.

"hilarious." i said, sarcastically. josh shrugged.

"the kids seem entertained." he said. i nodded in agreement.

"fair, fair." i agreed.

your pov

we all played games for a little over an hour longer until the game cards ran out of credits. when they ran out, the kids didn't seem upset. instead they just seemed hungry, so we decided to cut the cake.

we made our way to the table. i called for staff assistance so we could have help lighting the cake. i then remembered the chuck e. cheese mascot (chuck e.) was supposed to sing the twins happy birthday. this delighted the kids.

but terrified me, no less.

we all sang happy birthday and the rat did a little dance as the twins smiled brighter than ever. they were so adorable it warmed my heart. and i could see in tyler's eyes he felt the same way.

they finished singing happy birthday and then cut the cake. once they finished, the mascot and staff worker disappeared.

i got caroline and noah their pieces of cake. i would've gotten cake but i wasnt feeling very hungry. so i decided to sit next to noah.

"are you having fun?" i asked him. i wanted to make sure he wasn't feeling overwhelmed in any way.

"yeah! im having lots of fun. also.." noah stuck his finger in his frosting and poked my nose. "have some cake, momma."

"gee, thanks." i giggled. caroline noticed what noah did and did the same to tyler. by then, we were all laughing.

once the twins finished their cake we all decided to head home. we agreed that we could just do presents at our house. it was a bit of a drive and we didn't want the kids out too late.

we all grabbed our things and left, after having a fun day.
