"And you're awfully quiet. Something's bothering you and we're not going anywhere until you tell me."

She says crossing her arms in front of her.
No way to get out huh...

I say as I think about what to tell her.

"... I know something that I probably shouldn't know- but I don't know if I'm misinterpreting or not."

"..."

Madi sits there in silence trying to think.

"So you know something- I'm assuming about me- that you shouldn't know- probably because of last night? I drunkenly said something?- and now you're thinking about it wondering if it's true or not."

She says as I nod my head.

"I don't want to stress over it so don't tell me."

She says laughing.

"I'm alright with that, besides it's probably not true."

I add on as I shrug.
We decided not to talk about that topic anymore and since then and we've been doing nothing, just watching TV and spacing out.

Time Skip (still Dylan's POV)

It was few weeks since Madi came over and things have been going smoothly, she made lock down seem enjoyable like I thought she would.
It feels odd for me, it's like time went by quickly because it's been a few weeks but at the same time it feels like she's been living with me for years now.

"A home party? Dude we're in a middle of a pandemic, don't do that."

I tell my friend Noah, he gave me a call inviting me to his house for a get together.

"Dude don't worry, everyone invited needs to have a negative covid test to be accepted in. That's why the get together is in three weeks. Enough time for everyone to get their results."

He says sounding relaxed. Although I was a bit skeptical, it was logical so I gave in.

"Okay... how many people are you inviting?"
"Just ten, including your girl."

He says as I furrow my eyebrows. The silence probably hinted to him that I was confused at his comment.

"You know, the girl you're living with right now. Your girlfriend."

He says as I catch on. He was talking about Madi.

"We're not dating- nor living together- this is temporary."

I correct him. But I had a feeling that he wasn't convinced.
I hope I didn't sound disappointed when I said that.

"Yeah whatever- but just invite her alright? See you then."

He says quickly ending the call before I can say anything.

Home party huh...
I thought as I walked out of my room. It was still 6am but I woke up for some reason.
I looked over at Madi's room, her door was open and she was still sleeping.

For some reason it felt illegal to be watching her sleep so I quickly looked away.
Only to glance back again and walk into her room.

Madison Brooks

It feels hot.

I thought as I woke up.

Someone's arms were around me from behind and I heard light snoring.
Dylan somehow made his way to my room and cuddled up along me as he slept.

Since when was he here? I didn't even notice.
I thought as my heart started to race from the skin contact. It felt like it was going to beat out of my body.
But how do I get out of this situation?
I decided to slowly slide myself out of his arms.
