Ugh, why did covid have to happen?
Now I have no job and currently living with my parents having no clue what to do with life.

I thought as I walked downstairs to get food, despite waking up just 10 minutes ago at 2:40 pm.

When I was rummaging through the kitchen, I heard a familiar voice behind me.

"Hey, good morning."

I turned to see someone with a mask on and wearing gloves.

Wait is that Dylan?
Holy shit it's Dylan-

My jaw drops to the floor and out of reflex I go and hug him.

"How have you been doing?"

He asks while chuckling as he hugs me back.

"What are you doing here?"

I ask not letting go of him.

"I came to pick you up."

He says as he lets me bury my face into his chest.

"For what?"

I mumble into him.

"Since everyone is quarantined right now staying at home, I'm taking you to LA to be my quarantine buddy."

He says patting my back.

"Wait what?-"

I ask wondering if I heard that right.

I get to spend time with him?

No not just spend time but to LIVE with him?

I hug him tighter in response as my mom comes in the kitchen.

"Oh Sleeping Beauty finally met her Prince Phillip."

She says referring to how late I woke up, and how my mom literally ships us.

Dylan chuckles as I let go of him and tell mom for the millionth time that I am not dating him.

"Anyways, pack! The jet's leaving at 8 pm, you have 5 hours to get ready."

"Wait- don't tell me you came with your jet just to pick me up?"

I ask turning to look at him.

"I did. Don't need you to be flying with other people and getting this virus."

He said as he smiled.

"Oh my gosh-"

I say as I felt really protected and honored.

"Yup, so go pack so you can leave in time."

My mom says as I nod to the both of them and head upstairs to my room.

This Dylan is Dylan O'Brien. Yes, the famous actor.
Also known as my best friend and someone like my guardian, he watches over me a lot.

We became friends thanks to my job, I worked with Dylan for quite some time at the Teen Wolf set. I was hired as a assistant. For everything.

As a assistant, I would do random things people ask me to do on set.
Sometimes it would be a coffee refill asked by the director, sometimes it would be a quick audio check asked by the audio department. Sometimes setting things up for the camera department or fixing actor's makeup. Anything I could do, I did.

I was that extra person they could rely on and use if they needed.
Probably was the lowest position of all the jobs you can get in the filming industry but I still enjoyed it.
It was a very enjoyable experience being able to see how TV shows are filmed and all of the actors were nice and welcoming.
