"Skrael? What is that you've brought with you? Dispose of it!" Boomed BellRoc clutching her staff.
"Now now, no need to threat, this child is no mere human, she is born with magic." Grinned Skrael placing the child upon the bone chilling floor of the cave, that for the time being, they called home.
As the two great Demi-gods argued, a young looking girl by the name of Nari walked up to the child, eager to meet her. Nari dazzled Y/n with her unique abilities over nature. The beauty of it always surprised Y/n. Although Nari had antlers and had a peculiar green skin tone, Y/n didn't feel afraid, she found Nari rather beautiful. That was one of the many gifts of Y/n, she managed to see good in everyone. I think Nari taught her that. But as you might have guessed, Skrael and BellRoc quickly demolished that gift by telling her story's of how man kind is evil and how they've upset the balance.

(Y/n's 6 in human years)

It took much convincing, but eventually BellRoc agreed to tolerate the young child under the promise that one day, she'd help them in their mission to reset the world. By this age, Y/n had already discovered the basics on how fly and how to control her own element, water, and spent much time with Nari as she loved to watch her create plants.

"You ready Y/n?" Smirked Skrael turning towards the young girl.
"Coming Skrael!" She laughed running up to him, she loved going on late night trips with him. Once she was stood beside him, Skrael gave a slight nod and flew out the entrance of the cave of which they lived in. Y/n followed after him eagerly but struggled to keep up resulting in her falling behind him. Skrael saw this and with a slight chuckle slowed down to allow the toddler to catch up with him.
"You alright there Y/n?" He asked turning to face her.
"Yep!" She squealed as she felt the cold rush of air against her face. She didn't care. She had grown accustomed to the cold. After all, she spent plenty of time with Skrael and he always had a way of making everything a warm sort of cold. It's hard to explain really, but although every where he walked dropped in temperature, it's not the sort you feel, Y/n felt it was a comforting reminder that he was there.

A few minutes later the two landed in the edge of a frozen lake.
"Alright Y/n, do you remember what we practiced last time?" Urged Skreal gesturing to the mass of ice in front of them.
Skrael's deep voice still startled Y/n as it didn't fit with his young appearance at all, but she had just grown used to it and learnt to ignore it.
"I think so..." she replied unsurely. She lifted her shaking hand out in front of her and closed her eyes and held her breathe trying to get the ice to move. Nothing. She opened her eyes and gasped for breathe.
"See. It just doesn't work, ice is your thing!" She protested with a disappointed look on her face as she kicked the slow at her feet.
"Listen here child, ice may not be your birth given magic, but it doesn't stop you from learning to control it." Assured Skrael resting his hand on her shoulder.
The two practiced magic for the next hour before Skrael though it best to take Y/n home so she could get some sleep.
