Y/n stood outside the looming building of Arcadia Oaks High.
"Nari said I need to do something called school every day" she mumbled as she gazed at the student full school. It was built with a series red bricks and a pearl white paint job. It was almost as big as the Arcane Order's castle, the structure of this massive building made Y/n feel small, she was used to that feeling though, she always felt weaker then the Demi-gods that had become her only family.

Y/n was snapped out of her thoughts as the sound of a screaming bell nested inside her ears. She noticed all the other kids there started flocking into the building, Y/n figured she'd just follow what everyone else does, that way she couldn't mess up, right? Y/n held a piece of paper in front of her, one of the teachers had given it to her before, it was a list of the different lessons she needed to attend to.

Y/n wandered around the hallways until she came across a room with the sign 'History' above it. Y/n cautiously made her way into the class room but she stopped dead in her tracks as she noticed everyone was looking at her. Had she done something wrong? Had she upset them in some way? Y/n felt like her heart was gonna jump straight out of her chest at any moment from the sheer worry of it.

"Ah! You must be Y/n L/n! Welcome to Arcadia Oaks." Came a welcoming voice, only a few meters away from her. Y/n turned to face a tall man with dark grey hair with his emerald eyes.  "I am Mr Strickler, I'll be your your history teacher during your stay here"
Y/n felt rude not saying anything she she gave a slight nod and said "nice to meet you sir."
Mr Strickler smiled before continuing, "would you like to say anything about your self? I'm sure we'd all love to get to know you a little better." He insisted as he used his hand to gesture to the rest of the class who were now staring intently at Y/n.
"Oh uh- well, from what I've been told I was adopted when I was young, I live with my twin sister, my older brother, and my mother." She finished. This wasn't an entire lie though, she did look to Nari as her twin sister, she saw Skrael as her older brother and looked to BellRoc as a mother figure, even if BellRoc didn't like her that much.

"That's very nice Y/n, do you have any hobbies at all?" Asked Mr Strickler. Y/n thought for a moment, what could she say? Oh yeah I'm a wizard who can control water! She was very close to just staying silent when an idea buried itself into her brain.
"I do a lot of swimming" she said hopefully, Y/n did actually spend a lot of time in the water so that wasn't a complete lie either.

Strickler nodded before speaking again "thank you very much Y/n, you can take a seat next to Jim I'm sure you two will get a long perfectly." Strickler then looked at Jim who smiled at Y/n. Y/n nodded and sat down in the smooth oak wood chair, placing her bag on the floor next to her desk. Nari had given her a bag before she left, she said it had all Y/n needed while she was at school.

"Alright class open up the computers provided for you, and start getting some research done on the Battle of Hastings." Ordered Strickler as he opened up a power point and displayed it in the white bored that hung on the class room wall.
"Strickler, can I speak with you for a moment?" Came then voice of another teacher as they opened the door to the history class room.
Mr Strickler turned to the blonde teacher who was stood at the entrance of his class room. Strickler nodded before turning to the class.
"Alright class I need to have a short talk with Sinior Uhl, carry on researching and I'll be back in a minute." And with that Strickler followed Uhl out of the class room where they started to discuss something.

Y/n's mind darted back to what had Strickler said earlier. "What's a computer?" She murmured before noticing everyone was opening a 3D black rectangle that lay on their desks. Y/n copied what they were doing before getting stumped again when the device asked for her username and password.

Y/n's gaze darted all over her table to try find something that could help. "Aha" she whispered picking up a small piece of white paper which contained both her username and password. After entering her log in details it still didn't log her in.
"Dang it!" She murmured as she repeatedly tried to log into the computer.

The dark brown haired boy who sat next to her stomped mid conversation with his brown haired friend and turned to face Y/n. He glanced at her computer screen and realised she was struggling to get on.
"your user name starts with a capital D" he pointed out before leaning over and changing the lower chase D to a capital. Y/n pressed the enter button and the loading screen for her account came up.

"Thanks" she laughed as she turned to get a good look at the boy who had helped her.
"I'm Jim!" He smiled before continuing, "your... not from around her are you?"
Y/n gave a slight chuckle before responding "guess you could say that." Y/n was about to start a conversation with Jim before the horrifying stories the order had told her about humans burned in her mind. Her smile was reduced to a scowl as she turned back to her computer screen to finish the assignment the teacher had set.
