"Troll hunter!" Boomed the voice of Bular as he stared at Jim who was clutching his sword tightly in his hand. On his left, stood a large grey troll with a dark, moss green mane with a young boy holding a blazing hammer sat on top of him. On Jim's left, stood a dark blue grey stroll with 6 eyes and four arms who stood only a few inches taller then Jim.
"Leave her alone Bular!" Yelled Jim as he prepared for a fight.Bular didn't respond. He simply grinned as he charged towards the boy, his tinted fangs glinting in what little light made it's way beneath the bridge. By this time Argh and Toby had already made their way towards Nomura where they were trying to make sure she didn't kill Y/n.
Blinky had ran over to another beam to avoid being smashed by the stampeding Bular. Jim raised his sword ready to strike down his fearsome opponent, but as his luck had it, Bular reached him first sending him flying into the stone walls of the canal that stood only a few feet away from them.
Jim was now clinging to edge of the bridge trying desperately to heave himself back up. Blinky had tried multiple times to reach Jim and help him up but every time he was intercepted by Bular. After dangling of the edge of the bridge for a few minutes, Bular finally decided to be rid of the boy menace. With one stomp of his foot, Bular crushed Jim's hand underneath his weight, and inevitably, Jim fell onto the hard stone floor of the canal.
"Master Jim" yelled Blinky reaching his hand out towards the boy who had only just managed to get back on his feet.
Suddenly, Jim heard a sound that sent a chill down his spine. He slowly turned to look behind him where an abundance of sewage water was rushing his way. He would have been swept away by the current and pulled away from the fight, IF, a certain someone had not jumped in to save him.Y/n reached her hand out as a strange blue mist formed around it. Grinding her teeth, she used her magic to prevent the water from hitting the troll hunter. Instead it's raging rapids rushed past him as some sort of invisible force defended him.p from being swept away with it.
After all the water had past, Jim climbed up the side of the now dampened canal and leaped onto the steel bridge where he intended to finish what they came here to do. Save their friend from Bular's grasp.
Jim wasted no time in asking Y/n how she had done what she'd done, he simply went with it and struck a powerful blow against Nomura. Out of the corner of his eye, Jim could make out Bular leaving the canal with a wicked grin on his smug face.
He then looked to Nomura who had grabbed Y/n, holding her blade positioned right under her chin. An evil smirk appeared on her wicked face knowing she had the upper hand. Y/n started panicking before an idea planted itself in her mind. She clutched her fist, closed her eyes, took a deep breathe, a luminescent green light shone through the cracks in her fist, and quickly placed her hand on floor. She ended up scratching herself on Nomura's blade but nothing to serious was done. As soon as Y/n removed her hand from the iron bar, a series of vines and plants sprouted from the floor, tangling Nomura in its grasp. Y/n took her chance and fled towards the people who had helped save her.
She turned back to see Nomura viciously cutting the vines, oblivious to the fact that the more she cut them the more they grew.
"How did you do that!?" Yelled Jim, a confused look painted onto his face.
"Magic." Replied Y/n as it were a normal thing to say before continuing "you must be the troll hunter right? But why'd it choose a human?" She pondered as she stared at Jim's glistening armour.
"To be honest, I have no idea" he laughed as he put his sword away.
"Let's just get outa here before my spell wears of and Nomura gets out" chuckled Y/n glancing back over to the changling.
