"Um hey guys, before we go to the party I need some advice." I say as I stop them by their hair.

"Ow!" Aspen screams.

"What is it scarlet?" Sage asks.

"Um... that guy who's friends with the boys whose name shall not be said, his name is Asher and he annoys the living shit out of me. I don't know what to do about him because we see each other everywhere and we're into the same things."

"Oohh someone's got a crush!!!!" Sage and Aspen scream at the same time!

"I do not he annoys the shit out of me that was the point of the story!" I scream back.

"Whatever! Let's go." I say as we all walk back into the woods for the party.

When we arrive, there were a lot of people saying "hi" or "great idea". I assume they were talking about the party. I am pretty popular now, and since Aspen and Sage were my best friends they are popular too. I believe they like the attention.

I walk over to the bar and grab a soda. Sage and Aspen are dancing so I just walk away. I do not dance. ever!

During the party, I walk out of the clearing to the stream. I walk across and up a hill to a lookout that overlooks the party in the clearing.

I sit down with my feet dangling over the edge.

"What are you doing up here?" A manly voice says from behind. I already knew who it is. Asher.

"Nothing really, just getting away for a while, why are you here! Better yet why are we talking i don't like you!" I says to him probably a little harsher than I meant to.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell at you I just have a lot on my mind."

"Like what", he says as he sits down next to me.

"Id rather not say". I state.

"I understand, but hey do you think we could be friends instead of hating each other." he says.

I turn back to face him. "Yeah I'd like that. I will meet you here tomorrow, best friend." I say as I turn and walk away.

I swear I hear him say "yes!" Under his breath, but I ignore it and walk back to the party.

"Where did you come from pretty lady, come here," a drunk guy says from behind me.

"Leave me alone" I scream at him.

"No I said come here!" He grab me from behind and drags me into the woods. I try to scream but he covers my mouth. He shoves me up against a tree. I knew what was going to happen.

He starts to unbutton my shorts but he is instantly pulled back by someone strong. There he is. Asher beating the shit out of the guy.

"Asher stop," Nathan screams from beside me. He didn't listen. Nathan looks at me with pleading eyes. I know what I have to do.

"Asher stop please just stop." I yell. I run forward and grab his shoulders spinning him around. He looks shocked. His hatred filled eyes, faded slowly back to their original color of sparkling blue.

"I-I I'm sorry, it's just that he was hurting you and... I couldn't let that happen." he says rambling on.

I stop his talking by covering his mouth with my hand. "hey I understand, thank you," I say.
"I will see you tomorrow at our spot." I say and I turn and walk away, to find Aspen and Sage.
