Michael and Zoe walked through the forest and made their way to the lake where they were going to clean up. It was lunchtime and not a single cloud was visible in the sky. The weather was hot and the birds were chirping happily.

Michael: "Zoe, when will we be there?"

Michael was all sweaty and Zoe was panting because she had thick fur.

Zoe: "We shouldn't be that far away. It's probably going to take us ten minutes to get there."

Michael: "Ahh, man."

Zoe giggled as a joke popped into her head. She wanted to tease Michael a little.

Zoe: "Oh, you really want to take a bath with me that bad?"

Michael blushed as an image of Zoe splashing naked in the water came to his mind. He immediately threw that thought away so as not to expose it to Zoe.

Zoe: "Well, how about we play a little game to pass the time, huh?"

Michael: "Alright, what game?"

I wonder what game she wants to play. Hunt down the human? Burn Michael, burn? Zoe's fun in the bush?

Zoe giggled again and blushed.

Zoe: "No, although I really liked your last idea."

Michael gave her a "what the hell" look and raised one of his eyebrows.

Zoe: "I didn't say anything! Forget it. I was thinking of a little game like "I spy with my little eye."

Pretty boring, but at least a game to pass the time with.

Michael: "Alright."

Zoe: "You go first."

Michael: "I spy with my little eye and it has the color white."

Zoe: "Is that me? That's my fur, isn't it?"

Michael: "Congratulations, that was the one million dollar question."

Zoe: "Oh, come on Michael! Make it more creative and exciting like me. I spy with my little eye and it has the color brown."

Michael looked around but couldn't see anything brown except for the trees and dirt on the ground. Surely she wouldn't pick something out so easily, but Michael wanted to try anyway.

Michael: "Hmm, the trees?"

Zoe shook her head in response.

Michael: "The dirt and mud?"

Zoe: "Nopedie nope."

Michael: "That stick over there on the ground."

Zoe: "Wrong."

Michael looked around again, but couldn't spot anything else that was brown.

Michael: "I haven't got a clue! Maybe my whole bathroom after an explosive diarrhea?"

Zoe giggled at his answer.

Zoe: "Well, it's something else. Guess again."

Michael: "I don't know. I can't detect anything else that's the color brown. Just tell me."

She stood in front of him, blocking his way. Michael just stood there staring at her curiously.

Zoe: "Okey, I'll tell you.... Your beautiful eyes. I could stare at them forever."

This was the first time anyone complimented him on his eyes. Everyone at school called his eyes ugly, disgusting and lifeless, even Michael told himself that while looking at himself in the mirror. But Zoe called his eyes the exact opposite, and that made him smile.
